This is great stuff, had a monkey bike for the last 3 years and it's the best craic you can have. You should try the wild Atlantic way in Ireland, or Kerry for the craic. We'll done and keep up the good work 👏
Well done I have done the route anti clockwise on a Honda Super Cub 125 so know how it feels riding full throttle and taking hours to get anywhere, getting 120mpg helped with fuel costs as it was when it was £2 a litre, the most I put in was £6 worth so the little bike was very frugal. I had to travel from Reading first to get there using the A1 M and the A68 so 12 hours of riding to even start just South of Glasgow I found drafting HGVs was the best way but make sure the driver is aware you are there .
I bet they took the mirrors off as they keep coming loose, unless you use high strength loctite on the mountings, over 50mph the wind blast just undoes them as the design allows it to happen in case you clip something the mirrors fold and do not break or snap off.
Cheers for the support pal! Two more to come yet. They push just over 70 mph. We both feel safe on the motorways, it’s the people that sit next to us taking pictures that make you feel unsafe because they drift into are lane where they’re not paying attention. Deffo helps with two of us as we communicate through the intercoms. Glad your enjoying the tour 👍
@@carbonairpitbikes 70! Wow that’s amazing for such a small bike, not even my Honda Cb125 can hit that hahah! Yeah I do agree when riding in pairs the sense of safety sky rockets. Look forward to the next 🤘🏼
Thanks for the support there! The red monkey is 4 speed and the blue monkey is a 5 speed. Biggest difference we noticed was hills. The extra gears on the 5 speed did help in are opinion.
Lovely scenery 👌 😍
Yes! This is proper touring!

Money so well spent tho!!? Do it pal amazing bikes can’t go wrong! Cheers for the kind comment!
Where's your mirrors?. Love this trip, got a 24 Monkey myself, love it. Be safe chaps.

What is the other light flashing. Seems to always be on. Great trip. Cheers
It’s the ABS light. After being on roads for a wile they flash. they all seam to do it.
@@carbonairpitbikes Thanks for your reply. Take it easy
How did Rees sort his shoulder ? Cracking series guys , def got the weather with ja this stretch.
He just got on with it really he’s a tough cookie could see the pain and discomfort in him. Cheers pal! Fingers crossed we’re crossed 🤞
That looked a cracking place to stay, I'm wick. Glad to see the boys better.
Was a cool place and nice to rest up. He cracked on with it best he could, done well.
How do you get the Bike up to 70mph fully loaded? Just got a monkey (2023) and it hardly does 59mph..
These videos are great, I’ve watched every one.
What’s the top speed of your bikes and do you feel safe on those 70mph roads?

Do you guys have big bore kits on the bikes ?
@@wayneholler4556 I have the big bore and all the set up to go with it but haven’t fitted it yet.
Are you running the 4 or 5 speed engines? Great videos, cheers.

How was Reece’s shoulder for day 7? No mention of it in the video (so far…)?!
Not great but we needed to get back on the road. He’s a tuff cookie. Helps that we can talk on the intercoms.
