Very cool. I love hearing Kenny play "surf" music. He said one of his all time favorite bands was the Astronauts. They too are from the Boulder area in Colorado. They had a hit with a song called "Baja". Before the pandamitt started Marty said they were going to release a whole album of surf music. Can't wait for that.

Most of us surf music fans love the Astronauts. I really love Surf Party and the Hearse by them also! That would be so cool if they actually release a full album of only surf guitar!

I was turned on to the Astronauts in 1964...love "Baja" of course and as sacrilegious as it sounds I prefer their version of "Let's Go Trippin" to the guy who wrote it, Dick Dale...

One of the BEST live instrumental versions of Apache that I've heard. Looking forward to Marty & the FS 20 cut instrumental CD. Believe it will be titled Space Junk and hopefully out in 2024?

I ❤ Marty Stuart and His Precious Wife. AND. his bands...IF...there's a Steel Guitar in the band. If not, I will NOT listen. How sad, that Stuart, would not make it a 100%; that a SG (PSG better) be IN his band. NO exceptions! No different than his incredible drummer, Lead and bass musicians.
So again Stuart kind Sir, IF you will ever see this (I doubt it) I do ❤ you and your wife; also your bands. But I want to hit you right "through your nose"; ANY time you do NOT use the most beautiful instrument; there is ever been in the world!
And Gary Carter is one of THE greatest SG players EVER. And you know that. But there are many more that would ❤ to be in your band too and ask your wife!. Oh yes...R & R should have a SG too. Because just before Elvis died, he called Mr Lashley Sr (owner of the Emmons PSG). Because they were going to use the instrument. But it never came to fruition. Because...may Jesus rest his soul.
