You need to watch the complete BTS performance at MMA 2019 (this part is only the ending). It was a 37 minute performance for the award show that took 3 months to prepare. It's not just one of BTS best award show performances, it's one of the best award show performances of all time period from any music artist.

You really should watch the entire BTS 2019 MMA award show. I don't know why Army would have you just watch the last song performance. Despite seeing the last number you should still go back and watch the whole thing. It's amazing.

It's such a shame that you only watched Dionysys from this performance. Part of the magic of that performance that was voted "best ever" by ARMY a couple of years ago is the build up of all songs, the tribute to their past, the solo dance performances, the Augmented Reality part of Mikrokosmos, the fact that it was a 40 MINUTE performance DURING an awards show. When you start with Dionysys, it just isn't the same.

As someone mentioned, this is the finale of a much longer performance and it is incredible. The whole thing is worth a watch. And just to add, you should also watch the full MMA 2018 performance as well. 2019 often overshadows it because it’s so wild but 2018 is also incredible. 3 words: Jimin Fan Dance. :)

We know they are two different award shows.
MAMA (MNet Asian Music Awards) 2019 was iconic, too...and almost 46 minutes long total. I want to say it was around 45 minutes, 43 seconds? I can't remember off-hand. It's getting harder and harder to find the full version of it (I gave up scrolling for it), but you can easily find segments of it broken down into 2 to 3 songs per video of it.
The full MMA (Melon Music Awards) - THIS - performance was only 38 minutes, 8 seconds. Though, admittedly, at least the full performance of this one is much easier to find.
For MAMA, they all had black suits, white shirts...except Kook, who was in all black...for Dionysus instead of the "royalty" look in this one.
However, with RUclips's weird rules for reactors these days?
It's probably best not to watch ANY full version of award show performances. It's not worth a copyright strike and all of them (MAMA, MMA, AAA, SMA, GDA, SBS, and more) almost always get a strike...which sucks because some of the older award shows are non-existent now, but reactors still get strikes.

As I see in many other comments, watching this whole performance is an Army MUST!!! You have missed the magic and why this is such an epic performance. Just watching the last part of it is doing yourself a disservice. Sit and watch the entire performance and trust us Army will definitely sit and watch it with you!
everyone has already told you to watch the full performance. It's a must to get the full magnitude of this performance. And this is the reason why $1000 concert tickets is still worth it. They're not just standing on stage twirling their hands for an hour and a half.
I know it’s not your fault you didn’t know but PLEASE PLEASE WATCH THE WHOLE 2019 performance. This was the last of many performances and the prior performance gets you ready for this one. The whole thing is preparing you for this. The last half is relating to the Greek Gods. Each BTS member is a specific God. I would have to look up which is which cos it’s been so long I don’t remember. But OMG the whole show is absolutely EPIC. Especially if you like Jimin. As pretty much everyone else in the comments have said...this performance of Dionysus was the last song in an awesome show of F L E X from BTS to the "Big 3"!! It is the MMA 2019 performance. An end of year award show in Korea/Hong Kong. Close to 40 minutes of absolute perfection, perfection, perfection!! I remember the first time I watched this performance with my daughter, I was totally blown away and it literally makes American award shows pale in comparison!! BTS won ALL 4 of the top awards that night and also won ALL 4 of the top awards at the MAMA 2019 show which was held in Hong Kong!! I hope you decide to watch it soon!! ARMY will watch it with you, so don't worry about it being a long video!! I have lost count of how many times I have seen this particular performance in the last 5 years!! Each time I am hit with the same emotions and energy!! It NEVER gets old!!

When Suga fell back off the table did you notice that Jin and RM fell of the ends and while that was happening Jimin and V were lifted up on the ends of the table.

The whole of MAMA 2019 was a tour de force but Dionysus really was the crowning glory. What an amazing performance. At the end they hold it until the lights go down and then start breathing hard following that exhausting routine. Every time they perform it it's slightly different but always incredible. It's time for you to watch the whole of their performance at that award show but it's 40 minutes long so you'll need to get stuck in.

And the lights that come down before each solo performance make a star constellation, the Corona Borealis, seven stars (for 7 BTS members) that make up the distinctive crown-shaped pattern. In Greek mythology, Corona Borealis was linked to the legend of Theseus and the minotaur. It was generally considered to represent a crown given by Dionysus to Ariadne, the daughter of Minos of Crete, after she had been abandoned by the Athenian prince Theseus. When she wore the crown at her marriage to Dionysus, he placed it in the heavens to commemorate their wedding.

I'm pretty sure you're gonna watch the MMA 2019 performance but watch the Dionysus dance practice as well. That dance practice was so challenging that they had to change part of the choreography because of injuries

When RM & Jin fall back and the dancers catch them after that it was V & Jimin who dancers tossed back instead of RM & Jin. Their performances in MMA 2019 is Iconic and Dope. You better watch the whole performances.

Also the loud scream at the end is Jin. I hope you watch the 2019 performance. Remember Army do. Nooo... Just watching this one performance is like watching the last 10 minutes of a movie and finding out who done it before you watch the whole movie. There was a half hour of performances, both group and solo, that acted as a journey through their history, all leading up to THIS performance, the grand finale. You just skipped the whole dang thing and spoiled it 😭

During that dance break, yep SUGA fell back in the middle, but Jin & Rm also fell back on the ends of the table as Jimin & Tae were simultaneously lifted up onto the table! There is so much that happens in that dance break (love jhope & jk controlling each other’s movements then jumping backwards off the table) you have to watch it many times to see it all, plus it’s a little dark and when the camera zooms in/out it’s hard to get your eyes to catch it all.
Did u notice that the two on the sides also fell back but they pooped back up again?! So good!! I never noticed that until u went back to replay and I’ve watched this performance many times! LoL

As other have mentioned this is the end of the performance and not the full version of the performance. As far as I know Bts is the only group or artists that has been allowed to do a performance for nearly 40 minutes on a award show most artists get to perform for between 10-15 minutes on a awards show and even that is rarely done. The longest performance that had been done before this I think was BigBang on MAMA 2015 on a korean award show, as a single group or artists and not with collaborations with other artists or groups.
Bts has done collaborations performance with different artists or groups on awards shows examples are with Vixx and 2pm, Got7, Halsey, Coldplay, Block B are some of them, they have also done some when they have had their concert or an artist/group they have collaborated with and they have been invited to that artist/group concert and perform with them with their song.
