I can taste the same metallic taste after getting a Normal Saline IV Flush with nothing before or after ! I say it's also from Plastic particles that have broken down and are now in the saline before being injected into me. The reality is we don't cook or keep our food in plastic wear because of the plastics breaking down into our foods.
So, the lidocaine is in the heparin? That doesn't make sense. I get IV infusions all the time (IVIG for years, Vyvgart for 6 months ) and not once have I had lidocaine. It's heparin to flush to make sure there are no blood clots with the IV port.
