ive never really seen hart as a combo character due to how blindly simple he is when it comes to fighting but holy shit this is so fresh smooth. this is actually somewhat believable as a hart combo system. good job!
I actually originally went against giving him a combo dial, but before I started working on this project, I asked on gamejolt for suggestions on remaking the final lovelies' movesets. I got a couple suggestions to give hart a combo dial, which still wasn't enough for me, but then someone who is involved in this project actually vouched for a combo dial. so because of that, I went through with it.
Se que es algo poco original, Pero sería bastante interesante que uno de los ataques de Hart involucre que él tenga el efecto de estado "peligroso" y ese ataque sea Heart Breaker (lo vi en un mod de Pointless), buen video como siempre!
just as a reminder, as the description states, Deez was the one to animate the skills, so credits for that go to him. everything else, including the fact that I made the sprites for the animations, do go to me though
This looks really good! I like all the animations and hart being a TP and SP character fits him so well in my mind, both calculated and cruel in a fight if I’m allowed to word it oddly lol and his combo dials being like weaker versions of his special moves are so cool. Though there are a couple things that bug me like how long slams animation is blocked by the combo dial, like i can still see it but it’s way harder and makes it harder to appreciate it. This might be a bit much for what I’m assuming to be a small project but maybe you could ask someone to make a script to make the combo dial fade away after you enter in a combo for a skill? Idk. Same issue kinda applies for the combo dial with the numbers and debuffs blocking the impact of the hit, W and A especially, S not so much and D is completely fine. Though I don’t really know how you would go about fixing that one. Again though this looks really good keep it up! Oh and who is your LEAST fav Touhou character and why?
honestly I don't really have any in terms of their actual personalities or design. I used to not like Parsee but some fan arts of her made me warm up to her in terms of gameplay, however, I'm gonna have to give it to Kanako. bugged bullet hitboxes, tight dodges, long-ass final spell card. not to mention she pops up as the extra stage midboss with 4 whole attacks
I like how everyone has a different interpretation of the weird ass animation for Hart knocking your ass down
It's expressive enough to fit Hart yet very straight to the point in a way that matches him. This shit is great
