My favorite John Carpenter film. The combination of Science, Religion and Horror. The movie is so unsettling and at times difficult to watch. Great score composed by John Carpenter and Alan Howarth.
It really is. I watched it last night or half of it. Here I am with a SIG Sauer P365 9mm and a 133lbs male Cane Corso Roman Italian Mastiff and I turned it off because it unsettled me that much. This film gets under my skin. It's the only film using religion that makes me question it, atheism. IS it possible? That question puts chills on my spine, it's a question I NEVER want to know the answer to.
This is not a dream... not a dream. We are using your brain's electrical system as a receiver. We are unable to transmit through conscious neural interference. You are receiving this broadcast as a dream. We are transmitting from the year one, nine, nine, nine. You are receiving this broadcast in order to alter the events you are seeing. Our technology has not developed a transmitter strong enough to reach your conscious state of awareness, but this is not a dream. You are seeing what is actually occurring for the purpose of causality violation.
@@ruizj2006there was talks back I think in 2019 of John Carpenter producing a Prince Of Darkness series. NO idea if it was a Remake or a sequel. Mustache man I think did an excellent job in this role, I give him all the credit in the world, he convinced me.
Prince of darkness is one of the most underrated horror films of all times.

A sequel in 1999 would have been great.

almost starts out like They Live.
I'll take They Live anyday over Prince Of Darkness scenario, all day every day
@@LoneWolf_Cub_Ogami_Itto The scenario, yes. I would take They Live over POD any day. As far as the movies go, I love both.
