A truly brilliant film. Once again, Phoenix is quite remarkable in this. I love the song as well, I went to see Rammstein in Cardiff and they were excellent. The film does proffer some consolation however. The song on the other hand is unrelenting in it's devastating insight into the emotional desolation of a life lived under the thumb of a cruel and unloving Mother. I watched an interview with Richard Kruspe and he talked about the disconnect between himself and his mother. Coincidence? I doubt it.

The rythm and beat is catchy, but when you understand the lyrics and how deep are they... you will consider it a perfect song.
It is a perfect one, above all, if it happened to you. For me it was reality until I was 17.
One of the best most emotional films ever accompanied with one of the deepest gut wrenchingly beautiful songs ever. Well done mate!
