Look up the DoubleToasted interview with Lloyd Kaufman if you don't believe me) the cartoon was animated by the same company as '87 TMNT, the guy who did the sprites for this also did the sprites for Shredder's Revenge and you know that had they had more than 13 episodes, they'd take potshots at the turtles themselves. I'm surprised there wasn't a big crossover between the two entities at some point.
Psycho and Bonehead are on the title screen, I think that makes it obvious they're going to be bosses in later levels. What I'm wondering is that the Steam page description mentions other Troma references so when's Sgt. Kabukiman and Tromie the Squirrel going to show up? (I especially want a boss fight with Tromie)
I'm sure it's coming. The game comes out in 2024, and obviously there's 3 characters not in a playable state, 2 we haven't yet seen at all, they've got some stuff to add yet and we've got to wait a little bit longer.

Does this game possibly use the same artists as Shredder's Revenge? The style looks very similar to me.
