2 Macrame Maple Leaves | Macrame Maple Leaf Tutorial
Hi Macrame lovers...
I re-made a video about the macrame maple leaf tutorial. Here I show 2 macrame maple leaf designs. In this video I show how to use 2mm string.
You can also make larger sizes using 3 mm and 4 mm rope.
Following are the details based on the size of the rope used:
MACRAME MAPLE LEAF DESIGN A:
1. Scissors
2. Tapestry needle
3. Cotton rope
a. 2 mm cotton rope = 7 x 140 cm
b. 3 mm cotton rope = 7 x 190 cm
c. 4 mm cotton rope = 7 x 220 cm
The final result of this maple leaf macrame is as follows:
a. Maple leaf rope 2 mm = diameter 9.5 cm
b. maple leaf rope 3 mm = diameter 12 cm
c. maple leaf rope 4 mm = diameter 13.5 cm
MACRAME MAPLE LEAF DESIGN B
1. Scissors
2. Tapestry needle
3. Cotton rope
a. 2 mm cotton rope = 7 x 150 cm
b. 3 mm cotton rope = 7 x 190 cm
c. 4 mm cotton rope = 7 x 230 cm
The final result of this maple leaf macrame is as follows:
a. Maple leaf rope 2 mm = diameter 11.5 cm
b. maple leaf rope 3 mm = diameter 15 cm
c. maple leaf rope 4 mm = diameter 17 cm
There are 2 knots used to make this macrame maple leaf, namely:
1. Double Half Hitch Knot
2. Square Knots
