For anyone who is curious about the rope, in Japanese culture it is used on arches/doorways to symbolize divinity/ protect the divine realm. If you look at the arch that is in the Ashina depths where you yeet yourself, it has a large rope on it signifying you are entering a more divine area. There is also the arch before the Buddha where you travel to the gun fort from Ashina Castle. Another rope and arch is right before the illusion corrupted monk. So the larger the rope the more divine of an area, hence the extremely large sentient rope before the divine realm and the divine dragon.

Afro, you need to know this OP ninjutsu. Use puppeteer ninjutsu. Why? You can potentially get an army at your disposal. How? You basically backstab your enemies then press the button again to give them glowing purple eyes. Why is it op? It's not the best ninjutsu in the game but it helps a lot to have numbers in allies rather than having numbers in enemies. Also, some mini bosses can be puppeteered which is op broken, and sometimes you can bring your puppeteered army almost anywhere except places they can't reach on foot. By the way, friendly fire is active so watch out where your army attacks so that you don't carelessly rekt yourself. How to amass op army? step 1: Use puppeteer ninjutsu on any enemy of choice step 2: Watch your army decimate an enemy. step 3: backstab any of your puppets to kill them or to gain back another chance of dying due to the black ink stroke above your health bar. step 4: Do anything you want.
I love how Afro went from doubting himself and being bitter after fighting a boss, to exerting his power on bosses and learning from the fight. He's a lot like Goku now lol
Afro, this is very, very important game tip. This will help you not rage quit against the final boss and you will now understand the true meaning of the game title. It's true that in this game, you can only die twice, hence the subtitle "shadows die twice". BUT, if you use the hidden tooth, it acts as a seppuku effect item. In other words, you basically commit self kill with the hidden tooth. It may seem stupid to use it, but the important thing is that your those red orbs above your health bar will not have the black ink stroke on them if you die by the hidden tooth. Here's how to use the hidden tooth 101 for dummies. Just use it when you're about to die by an attack and when you are able to move or act. Then you can simply revive up to the number of red orbs you have available above your health bar.
