- A longplay for Sonic 1 hack is Sonic 1 The Harder Levels.
Sonic 1 Harder Levels is a hack made by Eduardo Knuckles and his team Harder Project of Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis. The hack adds to the game a lot of new features such as the three known main playable characters, a checkpoint monitor, customizable level music playlist, a sweet and clear save data select menu, difficulty selection, a unique music.

I really like the jumping sound in this hack. I remember there was a prototype of this in 2010 where it had the title cards. I remember another one that is before 0.00 which had the Sonic 1 title screen with the background in 2008 with an options menu. Also featured Sonic 3 sprites and it was in between the 7th projects anniversary version.

3) Godamn you have no clue at how getting good at games works, look, a person who's an expert at Street Fighter is going to also be good at another Street Fighter because that game is a matter of understanding fighting mechanics, the characters which are similar between games, etc etc, but a platformer? Every game has diffrent levels, and a diffrent layout, and unless you have a freaking third eye in your head you're not going to be able to masterfully play each level without memorizing them, where the enemies, the jumps, the traps, are, no matter how much "General Sonic" game experience you had, you can be an expert at Sonic 2 but that doesn't mean you'll be an expert at Sonic CD the first you play it, pretty good? Maybe, but not like the gameplay on this channel, and the very same concept applies to Rom Hacks, so if you really think the person running this channel has what? infinite fucking time on their hands to master like 100+ Sonic games and roms, you're pretty dense

koal the kangaroo 1) It's not just remembering the whole layout you idiot, that was my main point, but you think common sense would fill in the blanks, it's memory and execution, not only do you have to memoerize the level, but to do a run where you never take a single hit of damage, or mess anything up, you would have to execute it perfectly, no do overs without editing, and it's not just one stage, It's an entire game (yet I'm the one that needs to get my facts straight) which means doing the entire game like that, no do overs (if there's no editing like you claim) which is absurd, and the channel has perfect playthoughs like this with 50+ games, which is even more absurd.
