I’m pretty sure the reason why geto doesn’t have a domain is the fact that when jjk 0 was being written for the first time, domain expansions weren’t a thing yet.

@@DudeBreaker-wc8ud So Domain Expansions are actually unique to the user & not the technique, but we do see Kenjaku's Domain Expansion which is the closest we'll ever get a Geto/CSM Domain.
Essentially it's an Open Domain Expansion that allows you to blast out beams of Uzumaki Energy from a large cursed-spirit tower without a (visible or noticeable) cost & all of the Uzumaki blast have a sure-hit effect.
His Domain is called "Womb Profusion". (or "Taizō Hen'ya" in Japanese)

I’d like to Consider Toji Special Grade aswell. It is said he was capable of destroying his whole clan of somewhat advanced Jujutsu users by himself. He was able to beat a Teen Gojo and Geto who at the time they themselves were considered special grade. They say the qualification to be a special grade is the ability to destroy a country and I believe Toji could do that. Even though he’d have to go door to door to kill everyone because he doesn’t have any big flashy techniques
as of now, toji, maki, yuji, kashimo, hakari, uraume, uro, ryu and yorozu are all special grade level. they're just not registered
Geto might be the weakest but when Gojo asked if they should kill the religious group that was basically him saying "Make the choice, idc at this point, I just want some meaning of this", imagine if Gojo and Geto did at that point, noone could stop them, Gojo could easily find and weaken even the strongest cursed spirits, and seeing as Geto managed just fine for years I'm sure they'd thrive even until the disaster curses, and most importantly Rika existed, but this is all just saying "Well if he had Gojo." Strong potential but pretty hard on his own, especially with Gojo against him.

@@charlesm6819 The smallpox curse Kenjaku sent against Mei Mei atleast had one, so it's possible that Geto had some too, tho I'd say it's a far reach that he had enough high quality ones to beat out all of the disaster curses
Yuji should be a special grade by now right? Bro has shrine, blood manipulation, has a record of 8 black flashes, a domain expansion, and has been the only one currently fighting sukuna to keep coming back over and over after every hit (other than yuta).
Yea he should be, no reason not to. Only reason would be due to his ct not being mastered yet since he doesn’t know how to properly do convergence yet which is essential to blood manipulation, and hasn’t mastered shrine yet but once he does then he’s definitely special grade

Geto is a victim of the things like domain expansions not being created yet. If JJK 0 was written today, it would likely make Geto seem far more powerful as all he is lacking is RCT and DE. In terms of pure power, he surpasses JJK 0 Yuta, since Kenjaku states that Geto only lost due to him having to split his cursed spirits up to fight the other sorcerers. You could even ultra-scale Geto to having Uzumaki being stronger than anything Gojo had in his arsenal (at least in JJK 0) if you take Gojo saying that he would risk his life to stop Rika.
Like you said, I wouldn’t use the movie to scale since at that time it made it seem gojo wasn’t as strong, but during the shows serialization, and the power system and lore became more structured, most of what gojo said was kind of futile since we know in hindsight how strong he actually is. I would say tho that geto having rct isnt a fault of the movie, he just objectively didn’t have it since rct was already a thing back then, except domains
Quite a shame that Geto was born in a non-sorcerer family, as sorcerers from this background usually want to find reasons to what they do instead of rolling with "it is what it is". A less idealistic or simply indifferent Geto probably would get through the events in his life with a less dramatic change in duty, and having more time and maybe even some guidance to better understand and expand his CT utilities and overall strength.
A Geto with SD, DE, DA and maybe even the Disaster Curses that he can buff with his own CE (that isn't used a lot compared to other CTs afaik) would definetly be something to see
Geto had the most potential but also one of the greater limits to his power he was basically a more restricted version of Yuta

Honestly I think Yuki is at least as powerful if not more than Kenjaku. The fight ended how it did after Yuki she trusted Tengen's advice. She could have possibly used Garuda to hit Kenjaku during a clash of domains, and she would have easily killed Kenjaku with the black hole if she didn't hold back. Probably not stronger than the rest, even though Yuta was said to be equal to Kenjaku, I think Kenjaku being in the body of the weakest special grade holds him back.
Yeah it's impressive how far he got with curse manipulation as his hosted CT over the cracked ones that the others have.
But Yuki would've lost in the domain fight, he did a barrierless domain which would break yukis instantly. and black hole is a suicide technique, so she'd technically still die first
also yuki had help from choso revealing kenjaku's arsenal and then choso and yuki jumping kenjaku near the end of the fight

Yuki would've won the fight, but Kenjaku is really stronger and due to his (barrier) techniques he's a lot more destructive and would be much more efficient in taking over or even wiping out entire nations.
My thing is Sukuna is the strongest in general but Gojo is the strongest power wise and Sukuna is best at planning everything out

The thing with Geto is, his power level in 0 isn’t really any different than in Hidden Inventory so it’s not just cause of 0 not being fully developed
geto is clearly more experienced in hand-to-hand combat and technique versatility in 0 compared to hidden inventory

I think Gege made it very clear that even though Gojo and Sukuna are 1A and 1B, Sukuna's the stronger one. His domain is stronger than Gojo's, because it has a bigger range and doesn't have a weakness of the barrier. From purely power lvl perspective they are about equal, maybe you can argue in Gojo's favor, but when you include overall mastery of cursed energy with techniques and battle IQ + strategy, Sukuna takes it.
If gege wasn't biased i definitely think gojo vs sukuna would have ended differently...I now understand why Stan Lee said that the person that wins in a 1v1 scenario is the person who the writer wants to win.
me personally i think sukuna's number 1 cuz he has INSANE battle iq, as well as being able to plan things out really well. i mean, he was plotting gojo's defeat since like EPISODE 4, and he knew to take megumi to guarantee a win against gojo. sukuna's number 1 nobody can change my mind

about your point on Gege nerfing red, the audience of their fight (Mei Mei etc.) clearly stated that both of their cursed energy outputs were lower than normal so his red should've been weaker than against Jogo or Toji (unless he did incantations which i cant remember). Also, I think Gege may have nerfed Hollow Purple too as all it did throughout their fight was take Sukuna's arm at the start then take Sukuna's arm again at the end. It is usually way more destructive and considering the size of the last one and how Sukuna's cursed energy output was lower than before (thus meaning he can't use RCT to heal as quickly) it should've done WAY more than just take off his arm.

I agree with Gojo ultimately dying, but the execution and character assassination was unnecessary and honestly felt petty. Recently it feels like Gege has been going for shock value by making devastating events happen, only to stall for time so he could come up with an explanation like 10 chapters later
@@nick6253 It's really expected, Gege is finally feeling the weekly pressure, before he had breaks to rest and think through the story going forward, but now doing it weekly is catching up to him.
He probably still plans the story out prior but the execution still feels rushed. I don't really know how I feel about Gojo's death tho

I actually would switch Gojo and Sukuna and Kenny and Yuta, Kenny's 1000 years of experience is an insane leg up over them being equals. I agree with everything else though. But as for sukuna and gojo, reincarnated sukuna would actually just straight up murder Gojo in the domain clash 8/10 times. Not only is he physically stronger and faster. But he has 2 mouths, one to declare binding vows another to chant. And he could actively empower his cursed technique and keep up with gojo in hand to hand better. And Malevolent Shrine would cook Unlimited void like it did in the meguna fight except now he can empower MS with binding vows and he wouldn't have taken the damage to his body that caused UV to hit him. That and Meguna stated he wanted to increase the strength of his CT by learning the world cutting slash. Gojo himself stated Sukuna was doing things risky instead of just winning the domain clashes and spamming domain expansion again, until gojo eventually couldn't keep up and would die to MS. With 4 arms and 2 mouths plus better physical stats Sukuna would beat gojo in the domain clash and just win almost everytime. But I do think Limitless is the better technique overall, if Gojo had an open barrier domain like Sukuna he would wipe the floor with any Sukuna iteration. Since MS would be his only way to reliably beat Gojo.

i have to disagree with yuta above kenjaku because though yuta is more powerful, kenjaku is the better sorcerer and would likely curb stomp him in a straight 1v1
had tengen not been there to dispel kenjaku's domain expansion, kenjaku would've easily subdued both yuki and choso by destroying yuki's barrier the same way sukuna destroyed gojo's in their first domain clash
since yuta's domain also uses a barrier, kenjaku vs yuta would have the same result where yuta's domain is crushed from outside and yuta is forced to fight in kenjaku's domain with his techniques burned out, while kenjaku's techniques are amplified and guaranteed to land. yuta's reverse cursed technique is nowhere near enough to keep up with the damage of a domain's sure hit the way gojo did, we saw how his cursed energy nearly emptied itself just from a few heals against ishigori

People keep talking about how regular heian era sukuna and YujiKuna dont have a good way of bypassing infinity, as if it wasn't shown multiple times that sukuna bypasses infinity with his domain and domain amplification. If Sukuna went all out with Domain Amp, without worrying about the adaptation, he wouldn't have taken the 0.01 seconds to RCT the wounds he took to further the adaptation. Thereby not getting hit by UV, and thus being able to open his domain again after Gojo receives too much brain damage to open his own domain.
You say that but ignore that Sukuna needs to beat Gojo in hand to hand if he wants use domain amp to kill him (which we all know isn't happening considering Gojo dog walked Sukuna in hand to hand).
You are also fogetting that Gojo liturally figured out how to counter Sukuna's domain.
@@andrithorkristensson2545 Gojo did not "dog walk" sukuna in Hand to Hand, if he did then the 0.01 seconds it took for sukuna to RCT would be MUCH higher, and again it was already established that the reason sukuna took more damage than needed was for the adaptation, even then the 0.01 second difference was taking into account the TOTAL damage Gojo dealt with his CT and Hand to hand, furthmore we already know that Heian era Sukuna (4 arms, 2 mouths) and YujiKuna (Yuji's insane strength) have much stronger physical bodies than MeguKuna, at the very least he's slightly worse than Gojo in Hand to hand. Your last point is irrelevant since the scenario is a blind fight with neither opponents coming into the fight knowing anything about the other. This also means Sukuna wouldn't already have world cutting slash or any info on Gojo, and Gojo wouldn't already have any counters to Sukuna's domain or any info on sukuna.

9:50 There seems to be a misunderstanding. Open barriers aren't barrierless, an open barrier domain is a domain with a barrier that doesn't shut its barrier, thus the reason why inanimate objects aren't pushed out of it.
Also, the whole Yuta vs Kenjaku matchup is just sad, really. Yuta has a counter to his open barrier domain, which is his ability to shrink his barrier to an extremely small size, and Yuta's barrier techniques are refined enough to be capable of tanking Sukuna's true full output (Due to the fact that unlike with Yuji, Sukuna shrinked his sure-hit size to further enchance his output above the norm of his so called "full output"), so in conclusion, Kenjaku isn't breaking anything here. Additionally, CSM overall is a Rika, cursed speech, and a technique extinguishment victim, same goes for anti-gravity.

2.) Gojo
3.) Yuta
4.) Kenjaku
5.) Yuki
6.) Geto

If they had a barrier then they wouldn't be called Barrierless open domains gojo literally said the shrine of malevolent shrine is the center of the domain a normal domain is one with a barrier but open domains have been shown without barriers so I wouldn't see why open domains wouldn't be barrier less for not shutting the barrier in even with that I don't see a problem open barrier domains being called barrierless still makes sense because they basically don't have a barrier in the traditional sense where they just don't add the barrier in order to gain more range on the sure hit
@@blessinganwana9854 There's no such thing as "barrier-less domains", it simply doesn't exist. DEs by their nature are a barrier deprived technique, they're an extension of barrier techniques. Just because a visible barrier isn't seen, doesn't make it barrier-less. In the case of open barriers, the center of the domain of is the barrier. The choice of words are important in order to not spread misinformation.
Another crucial misconception is that open barriers grant abnormal range for the sure-hit effect, but it actually doesn't. Gojo demonstrated with his domain that he can extend its barrier to almost cover MS's sure-hit effect, thus also extending his sure-hit. The binding vows are the reasoning behind the abnormal range of Sukuna's MS.

I don't see why having a open barrier domain would be so impressive if it doesn't give anything special what is the point of their existence if they don't actually give abnormal range? If any domain can extend to that open barrier domain range then wouldn't that make the open barrier domains pointless? And therefore not impressive like what's the point of them if binding vows are the trick behind their range anyone could use one in that case
@@blessinganwana9854 The idea behind domains with a open-barrier is the fact that they don't push away inanimate objects just because they have no CE, allowing them to capture even those heavenly restricted towards the physical side. There are more advantages as well, for an example like domain clashes, unless you're Yuta or Gojo, you're bound to lose against those open-barrier users. Another advantage are binding vows, it's much more easier to make a binding vow for an open-barrier just because it doesn't have the same restrictions as a closed barrier domain does, as an example take Sukuna's binding vow with his domain and look at how he cheated the system for his own gain. The whole idea behind binding vows is to get something by sacrifing another as an equal gain, but Sukuna bypassed that.

Every version of Sukuna has a way to get through infinity through Domain Expansion. If Sukuna wasn't switching between domain amplification and mahoraga's wheel during the domain clashes and wasn't focused on using Mahoraga to improve his own technique, the fight would have gone much differently.

Sukuna's life wasn't at risk when this process was taking place, so please don't make it seem as if he used Megumi to shield himself from Ulimited Void. If he could do that then he would have never been hit with it. The Megumi thing was simply a secondary plan that Sukuna ran in the background. If he did not try to juggle the Mahoraga plan and his domain amplification, he would not have taken as damage to cause his domain to break. He literally cannot use 10 shadows and domain amp at the same time. He purposfully made the fight more difficult for himself to give himself a backup and improve his jujutsu.
Secondly, Gege didn't remove Gojo's teleportation. He literally cannot use it to escape a domain when he is in cursed technique burnout.

The issue with placing heian sukuna below Gojo is that we never saw heian sukuna fight gojo. Heian era Sukuna has wayyy more tools to counteract infinity. For example, Sukuna's ct output would be significantly higher with free access to use chants and hand signs with his extra body parts, Sukuna has Kamutoke which in theory could pierce limitless. If Kamutoke has the same properties as Kashimo's sure hit physics, Sukuna should be able to at least stun Gojo with it. The official JJK fanbook says that domain amplification can NOT be applied to specifically your innate technique, Kamutoke is a cursed tool and therefore should be able to pierce limitless even if the sure hit lightning cannot by itself.
Also, I believe Sukuna fully healed all his physical injuries when he incarnated and Gojo was only able to get a faster domain on Sukuna because he healed his burnt out technique while Sukuna was healing his body and burnt out technique.

The video is good I think there are a few other characters who have earned the Special grade title that should have been covered. That being Yorozu, Takaba, Hakari’s (debatable), and Kashimo (also debatable). You can also include Principal Yaga as he would have been special grade if he used his technique to its potential. As well as the Heavenly Restriction users Maki and Toji. Though most of those would rank quite low.
Btw Maki and Toji can’t technically get graded, but I put them there anyways.

I lean more on Kenjaku beating Yuta in a domain clash. Before the timeskip, he definitely wins, and I don't think there is a good argument otherwise. But after body swap training, I could see Yuta performing better against external domain attacks, but we have only seen him perform the shrunken barrier whilst in Gojo's body, so I highly doubt he can completely counter an open barrier domain before that. And once Yuta's domain is crushed, after what happened with Yuki, Kenjaku will likely make sure Yuta is completely dead (e.g. mini uzumaki to the brain)
(Obviously Yuta in Gojo's body beats Kenny, but that scenario can't exactly happen if Kenny is alive)

Binding Vow World -Cutting -Slash is too obvious for Gojo to EVER get hit by, as Sukuna has to first do a whole handsign to ever try pull it off, alongside the chant he must also do, giving Gojo ample time to just stop him from doing it.
Yujikuna cannot even come close to touching Gojo (Domain Expansion is his best bet, but he'd be at a disadvantage because Yuji can force Sukuna to relinquish control of the body unless Yuji is overwhelmed, so Sukuna would be on a time limit in the fight if he somehow forced Yuji to consume a ton of fingers.
Meguna is the best matchup against Gojo for reasons that are obvious.
Heian Sukuna, much like Yujikuna - Only has Domain Expansion and Domain Amplification as counter-measures against Infinity. They would clash domains until just like in canon, they both burnt out their brains and needed time to heal. However, in this scenario - Heian Sukuna does not have Mahoraga, so it would be a pure fist fight until they regained use of their cursed techniques, in which case Gojo would go onto win as Sukuna's domain amplification wouldn't be a reliable enough strategy to cause life threatening damage to Gojo, who would be on the offensive with red and blue. Gojo would also be fighting MUCH harder than he was in canon, because despite Gojo saying he didn't care about hurting Megumi; he got angry multiple times upon seeing Megumi's body used as Sukuna's puppet. With no Megumi on the line, Gojo would be near ravenous in the fight, as there's no bad side to killing Sukuna in this scenario. He wouldn't be hurting Yuji, He wouldn't be hurting Megumi, So Gojo would go for the kill whenever he has the chance.

Gojo can win without infinity since he is also insanely durable, he got a cleave to the face or maybe multiple cleaves in chapter 226 while he was in simple domain healing his burnt out CT NOT HIS BODY just like Ishigori did but with diferent results.
So since Gojo can withstand cleave, dismantle while easier to land since it doesn't require phisical contact becomes a non factor.

100% agree with the last two ranking especially due to the fact that Sukuna needed Megumi as defense against infinite void (like unless someone brings evidence that he has a heian era technique that would allow him to no sell it...and not use it during the fight for...some reason...ok granted I do see him doing that so he makes sure that Megumi doesn't interfere in the fight...but other than this we don't reall get any mention of Sukuna having an ability to no sell it other than using a proxy to take the damage for him).
All in all, Gege kind of shot himself in the foot with making Infinite Void THAT busted. Because of that we can't anymore say for certain whether or not Heian Era Sukuna would win against Gojo (specifically, would he be able to tank the Infinite Void and not get stunlocked till he's killed).
And even ignoring that problem, we still have to take into account that till the world slash, Gojo WAS winning. So, is there ANOTHER Heian era technique we don't know about? One that would allow him to easily bypass Infinity? *Without needing Mahoraga sensei to show him how?*
Basically, Sukuna is too inconsistent while Gojo kind off isn't. Feats shown beforehand mostly are the same even during the final fight (barring a nerf or two). So the ranking is understandable once you think about it.

Do remember that "barrierless" domains do not exist. The only two- Womb Profusion and Malevolent Shrine, are called "open barrier domains". The barriers are still there, they are just opened up. The Tengen argument you used isn't valid, as Tengen had to dismantle the Sunyata barrier to take Womb Profusion out along with it. Your other argument of Yuta being able to win because "Yuki survived it and Yuta has better RCT" is also hardly valid, because keep in mind the surehit effect of Womb Profusion hit Yuki *ONCE* before being dismantled by Tengen.
Gojo, who has been in Yuta's body and also is able to confirm it with six eyes, says that Yuta's cursed energy control is terrible.

I need to outright state that if Sukuna had wanted to, he could have expended more stamina to have beaten Gojo. Mahoraga was necessary to defeat Gojo and conserve as much stamina for the fights ahead as possible. It's why Sukuna was so easily able to contend with a lot of others that he shouldn't have been if Gojo had genuinely been stronger than him. That being said, I doubt before then that Sukuna has ever faced someone on such a high level. Gojo even states that Sukuna didn't go all out, and later, Uraume confirms this.

The yuta glazing is crazy kenjaku straight up said that if geto had all his curses he would have beaten yuta in volume 0 and remember volume 0 yuta is the strongest form of yuta because volume 0 rika is the strongest version of rika . plus maki straight out said if kenjaku fought yuta kenjaku will win if yuta fought kenjaku bro would be cooked and using that same logic if yuta is no where clos to kenjaku and Yuki was pretty even to kenjaku in the fight and gojo and sukana are the strongest so there is an argument for every single special grade to be stronger than yuta so bro is no where close to being the 3rd strongest

Also it's not a barrierless domain it's an open barrier. Seem similar but different. It's not possible to have a domain without a barrier, what Sukuna and Kenjaku are doing is just simply not enclosing the barrier on the opponet it is present, but not holding anything in. Pretty sure that during the Shibuya incident Kenjaku said that if Geto's power was not split between 3 cities he would've beat Yuta. I think it's a bit unfair to say that he's obviously last.
Yea he would’ve beaten movie yuta, but by the manga timeline 1 year later yuta became far stronger than geto, which makes him last by default since geto isn’t stronger than the rest of the special grades

Megumi and Gojo have similiar potential. Due to the special ability each of them possess. Having been weilded by two others in the past resulting in a draw. Megumi does not have confidence that his ability is that strong. Narratively, even Sakuna wants to keep him around because he recognizes his potential. He would have just outright died summoning Maharaga if Sakuna had not stepped in. The one who wounded him got lucky fighting him in a weakened state. Though, I do contest this detail due to what he did to the red haired girl. So blondy is close to Megumi, possibly being slightly under ot slightly above him as of the Maharaga incident.
I wouldn’t say they have similar potential when that’s not the case. Especially since we know peak for peak limitless is stronger than 10 shadows

Yuji’s dismantle is perfect for sukuna because he can touch his soul to weaken the control of megumi’s body. Kenjaku can't destroy Yuta's domain from the outside if he loses the domain clash. It would've been different from Gojo and Sukuna where their sure-hit attacks were equal.
