    Hello You Guys!!!
    Happy Monday ~
Today we'll be working on how to make your very own crochet round scarf.
I purchased a 364 yds skein & for the 10 row scarf I used half which would be 182 yds. For the 20 row scarf I used the 364 yds.
The crochet hook I used is a K101/2-6.50MM.
One thing I forgot to mention in my video is that once your done with the 180 stitch chain you'll bring the two ends together & unite them turning them into one cirlcle. From here you'll begin the pattern, once you come all the way around with your patern, you'll have to bring the first row together. During this time before joining the first row you'll have to make sure that the first row is aligned perfectly all around before connecting the first row. You'll only have to do this one time after finishing your first row, the following row's will automatically be aligned.
I hope you enjoy this tutorial & try these trendy scarf's out.
    See You Next Time ~

I am doing this scarf and i have some important tips for this scarf, first, make the stitches looserrrrr than how it should actually be on your hook to make it fluffy and free flowing, 2nd , the foundation chain has to be very loose than it actually is on your hook to avoid the scarf from curling and i mean very loose, if you can use size 9 hook for the foundation that will be much better , 3rd and very important which made me repeat everything, make sure that the foundation chain will NOT be twisted and re check it when you do the first round or after the first round otherwise you'll have to start all over again. for those who did scarves or infinity scarves know this already but for those who will be doing this for the first time , this will be very helpful

When you attach the two ends use your fingers through the chain to make sure it is straight and not twisted.

I just make as long and wide as I personally see fit... It doesn't have to be exactly what she recommends, scarfs are always customizable. Just be sure to keep to the basic pattern of it like.. Chain an even amount of chain stitches, make sure you have no twisting before you connect both ends of your foundation chain, and after you join with a slip stitch chain six and continue as normal. 👍

I thought that I would make a correction. I have been crocheting for years. I love the pattern and stitch but it is not a chain 2 that you do in the pattern. It is a chain 1. The loop already on the hook is not considered a chain seeing as you have not gone up from the stitch you had just made. Other than that you were excellent and I plan on making some :) I also adore your nail tutorials!

I want to make this so badly, but I don't know how many ounces of yarn would be enough. Would 6 ounces of yarn be enough for a 20 row scarf? Or maybe 7 ounces?

This stitch is really close to the extended single crochet. There is one difference between the stitch Raquel did and the actual extended single. She put one extra chain before pulling thru two, which works so well with this scarf!!! Thank you for being so thorough! This is one of the best tutorials I've seen. It really helps that you've reiterated everything, because I'm a little slow sometimes. :)

First off I love your cute Hispanic accent, second I love your video. I just started to Crochet and this is my second project after (of course) a pot holder. I am doing very well and I owe that to your video, it was so well detailed and clear. Thank you so much, these will make great Christmas gifts for my co-workers.

Hi Raquel you are the best. You take the time to explain very well, I have done this scarf in the 10 & 20 rd. Love it. And I keep the long one for me and the 10rd I did it for a gift to my Sister and sister in law.

I just made this scarf but used a bigger crochet hook, size P. I found a super chunky and soft yarn from walmart. Instead of chaining 180 at the beginning, I chained 100. I followed the pattern and it came out BEAUTIFUL! So very simple to do (especially because I am a beginner). I am going to make so many of these for friends (and myself!). Thank you, you're a great teacher! Please teach more :)

Hola, Raquel! I love your tutorials and have done a few. I am quite a beginner, but you make your instructions easy to understand and your videos are clear. Now, I am begging to see a tutorial on how to crochet convertible mittens! In today's society, people need to grab a phone call or take a pic quickly, but it's so cold, we need to put a cover over our fingerless gloves or wristers HELP!!! I want to make some for Christmas for my family - I can't find instructions nor videos ANYWHERE!!

This scarf tutorial is great, I remember making this when I first started out crocheting, it's so textured and makes you feel great about your work, even if you are a beginner. Thanks for sharing :-)

A beautiful and easy stitch that works up quickly. I’m making a second one to give as a gift. This scarf is very warm without being bulky. I used a medium weight #4 acrylic yarn and a 5mm crochet hook. TY you for sharing 🙏

This video is so awesome. So far i have used this pattern to make 4 scarves - one for my myself, one for my mom, one for my boyfriends mom and one for my aunt. Thank-you SO much!!! I used a chunkier yarn and a 9mm hook and instead of chaining 180 I just chained as long as I would like the scarf (I think I did 150 or so). It was SUPER quick to finish and the scarves came out so chunky and great! Thank-you for explaining everything so clearly :D!

You teach very well. You understand that the quality of your stitches close-ups matters enormously. AND you are SO cheerful !
One very important detail I feel you should add in this video : at 4:00 (and before 4:10), please TELL PEOPLE THAT THE INITIAL CHAIN HAS TO BE FLAT BEFORE YOU START THE SECOND ROW.
I learned the hard way - and I am not the only one - when my finished scarf was completely twisted.
    Besos !
