Great first ever Vlog, awesome effort! Great to see all the different equipment, interestingly Scottish sheep look much the same as Kiwi sheep, who'd a thought! Kids looked excited in the back of the car as well, already dreading walking around with Dad and his camera🤣🤣
We have a Fendt 942 on our yard at work (Forestry), and it's honestly like stepping into the Starship Enterprise! Having a fridge inside is pretty nice too this time of year!
I would love to go to one of these shows one day to see everything up close and personal. Just goes to show you just how big the farm machinery actually is. It amazes me everytime I see one in real life. Thanks for sharing your trip. I really appreciate it. Love the bag pipes at the end as well ! Thanks Fsg !
You need to come to western Canada to Farm Progress Show and Western Canadian Agribition. Agribition is great if you're into livestock, especially cattle but farm progress focuses on machinery similar to this show; it's my personal favourite as I enjoy grain farming more than livestock. You get to see all the big toys from any manufacturer imaginable in North America.
that was totally awesome, thank you for bringing us along and showing us what it's like in the real world as far as farming equipment and how big it is in regards to size and popularity
Great video FSG like you said the size difference now a days of machinery is unbelievable I thought when I drove a JCB 3185 was big but that’s tiny now a days and you definitely picked a good day to go and big shows are always better than local ones definitely a great video keep up with the great work 👏👏👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
@@TheFarmSimGuy I was just wondering if your dad went to the Kelsall stream rally if so I forward a couple of videos some took he might be on them on your discord 👍👍
We have the National Farm Machinery Show here in Kentucky in February, and it's a blast! Just a note, I don't remember who did it, but there is a McHale Fusion baler out there. I love these shows because you see brands that aren't common in your area. Around here, most folks use Deere, CaseIH, New Holland & Kubota. I've seen 2 McCormicks, one Fendt and one Valmet 80. Implements are a bit more diverse - Kuhn, Krone, Amazone, Kverneland are ones I've seen, but they're not as common as the CNH & Deere folks. Glad you had a good time of it!
Good stuff! It was so funny... As I was watching your vid I kept seeing stuff and thinking "of that's a 8rx or that was Case Magnum." Stuff I wouldn't know if I didn't play Farming Sim. Great vid!
That’s brilliant Josh, And that right there is one of the best things about Farm Sim, educating a whole new group of people about the world of farming 😊😊👍👍👍
It's years since I've been to an agricultural show, I used to go to our county one every year. Thanks for showing this FSG, it brought back a lot of memories :)
WOW, I am so blown away to see some of this amazing equipment. We have some dealers right near me, but I have a new appreciation since I have learned more about farming because of Farm Simulator and channels such as yours. Thanks for the treat wot travel with you to the show FSG!
Well done FSG ! great Video. Living here in the US, i can always go and See John Deere, or Case. But have never seen a lot of those in game EU tractors. Was so nice to see those actual tractors up close and personal.
I had a great time at RHS2022. I wish I could have got time to see more of the equipment but the family weren't as interested in the gear. Definitely looking forward to next year.
Great vid FSG. Seeing the machines up close and personal for me makes me appreciate FS22 so much more and how good it looks to real life. 👏👏👏👏 A fitting end with the bagpipe band.
Loved it mate, gutted I couldn’t be there this year, cheers covid! As long as you made it out of there without any horse/pony purchases we can strike it off as a win. :P
Looks a great show. Some quality bits of kit. Its insane the size of some the kit now compared to what i grew up driving. There's 2 McHale balers on Kingsmod
That's the thing I couldn't get over, just how much bigger the machinery is since my youth working on the farm, Thanks for the heads up, I don't use kingsmod but if they are legit, I'll try and find the modder and check them out 👍
First I must say you create excellent content, very useful and entertaining. I have not been to a farm show in many years, and that was very interesting, and well done. This is the first video that I have seen that you have done from camera footage, which brings me to my question, what video editor do you use. I have been playing with OBS and also have a drone, both of which I would like to be able to edit the raw video to create content, but do not have a useful editor. Your input would be highly appreciated. Thank you very much.
@@TheFarmSimGuy That's very weird as after I posted that, due to being too busy making lunch (I needed my sandwich) I was going to add "Is it a new mod called Real Life?" :)
Hey will you be going to the Haddington show in two weeks just wondering because I go to all the shows with my dad because we used to be farmers but now my dad sells new Holland
the problem is youre 2,5/3 meters tall in the game. it distorts the size of the tractors a lot - its really something i find insane that Giants hasn't fixed yet.
Ehh, small farming is more of a dying industry....farming in general isn't, and never will be as long as people need to eat....getting harder and harder for people to start out though, hard for someone to come from nothing and get the land they need to get started when there is a big farm down the road that brings in hundreds of thousands from harvest that also wants the land...
I think it's across the board, farming is constantly getting squeezed by the huge supermarkets, and food corps it supplies, regardless of the size of the farms. the problem just scales, bigger farms bigger costs, the prices still remain too low.
Amazing Video today, Keep up the amazing work, Hope you are having a great day? Love the Content The Farmsim Guy. Can we talk on Discord? How come I can't Text you on Discord and also why I can't join Your discord server?

Very cool! (if you excuse the pun!) Tractors have come a long way since I drove them as a teenager!
What a cool way to spend a day!! I'm proud to see Fendt & JCB in the feilds here in eastern Minnesota & western Wisconsin. Thanks for sharing. 👍✌️

That black beauty in the background of your outro really living up to it's name. Loved seeing the really old JCB too.
Loved the "He just can't help himself" Lol, great vid FSG. I'll have to get to one of these shows looks fantastic.

On the road with FSG. I love it! Please take us with you around Scotland more often. I'm also looking forward to your vids while at FarmCon too.
Yes Scott definitely hoping to do some stuff at Farmcon, also potentially got a trip down to visit grandad FSG when he’s next silaging 👍👍

Thanks Raymond, yes it gave me a new perspective on how well modelled some of the vehicles are 😊
The first 4 letters of that Case Quadtrac 540's VIN accurately describe the reaction of people when they see the size of the tractor 🤣
Haha brillant spot!!! 😂😂
They sure are massive tractors. We have 2 of them at our farms and they certainly dont struggle.
Just had to go back and look Lol
Grand pictures! 😃
Hope that you and your family had loads of fun!
Thanks a lot for the video! 😊👍🏻
Thank you Olaf, it was a great day out! 😃
5:16 The Best Stand :)
Sweet. Bet that was a blast. We have shows like that here in the states but I haven't been to one since I was a kid
Same here Matthew, many years since I’ve been to one, was great to be back
That’s really cool! I always get blown away at the actual size of most of the machinery too.
Absolutely fantastic! Tks, my friend, for sharing this with us! More videos like this in the future? plssssssss
Thanks Neo, I’ll do my best 😊👍
So cool. It is truly stunning how big the modern machinery is!!!!! 🍻
It really is! 😊👍

Thanks Tech, I tend to avoid 3rd party sites which explains why I’ve missed them

I was hoping that you would have seen a Case 400 magnum twin turbo with rear tracks
Looks like Soooooo much fun!! Great vid sir!!

WOW amazing stuff FSG 😍😍😍😍😍
Really cool you did this video mate.
