Thanks for the video answering one of the questions I left on your previous video about the A3. I actually have a very similar setup to yours, a A3-31, K3-winner and a A22 with a 223 height ceiling (I still use the bag). I'm in the process of finishing the electric sub-distributor then I'll tackle the actual suction, for which this video is a tremendous help. Thanks for sharing and keep making good content.
Thanks to great explaining done in the video! I liked you included some measurements of the AF22. Wonder if you can tell me the location measurement of the 200mm pipe connection on the AF22?
Great question. Disclaimer...my flex pipe is conected so the measurements could be a hair off. All measurements are on center. 26cm from the end. Across the width 27.5cm off front 24.5cm off rear
@@builtfixed6611 Thank you so much. My AF22 got delayed, but now I could start installing the pipework. Another question. You mentioned the medium weight hose is too stiff to use with the A3. uk.feldershop.com/en/Extraction/Extraction-hose/FELDER-Industrial-extraction-hose-H-SE.html. Is it this hose you are referring to? Then I might need to change my order...
@@matshatlebakk2375 I have Protape PUR 301 AS for all machine dust ports except my euro guard on the Hammer K3 and AF22 connection between extractor and rigid duct work. They have Protape PUR 350 AS. The 350 AS is good for straight or gentle curved applications where as the 301 AS is very flexible. Both are very tough
Hi there, thanks for the tutorial, I have the same headroom problem in my shop, however the filter cartridge might fit between the rafters, what's the diameter of the cartridge please? Many thanks.
I don't believe that the af-22 can swap positions as stock but potentially could be built different at the factory by request. The af-14 and af-16 are undermount suction inlets but with less power. Can I ask why would you want it with undermount on the af-22?
How is the above-table collection on your table saw? Do you have issues with planer shavings packing in to the filter? This is the issue I've had with my current 1.5hp single-stage; it prompted me to add an oneida dust deputy for initial separation. That works very well for that purpose, but comes at the cost of extra space -- I'd say the compactness is one of the advantages of the af22.
The collection above the table on the K3 is very good esp. with the euro guard and suction hooked up. The issue I have with the K3 is that wood chips collect within the saw. The transition between their internal flex hose and the saw aggregate is not ideal.
I do not have problems with planner shavings ftom tge A3 collecting within the AF-22 patron filter. Some materials that produce a fine dust on the K3 do begin to build in the filter but the solution is to just spin the handles on the filter.
Nice video. But its very weird that you seid you have a optional motor which has 4 kW power. Today I had a meeting with felder Guy and he Said that it is jít possible to put more powerfull motor on this extractor. It seem like There offer diffefent options in different countries.
What was the max size your rep told you? There might be regional differences or Felder has made a change. I would be curious to know. I will say with 4kW it has plenty of suck!

I'm glad it helped. Are you using the auto start? I can recommend it.

It is about 500mm
Could the motor be changed to top mounted and the inlet hose on bottom.
