i came across this video in December of 2019 i have always wanted to play this but as i have a learning disability i could never get the hang of it till i seen this video and now i cant get enough of Sudoku thank you so much for this very detailed step by step video
Logic is philosophy and not math. If I walk out into oncoming traffic, it's logical to assume that I'll get hit by a car. Nothing mathematical about that basic fact. Figuring the odds on whether or not I'll get hit would involve math.
@@glw5166 When I was in college, I took a course in Logical Thinking that was considered to be a math course. Yes, it is a philosophical term, but it's also used to solve math problems, so it's related to math., science and any field that requires reasoning and truth.

Use the New York Times. It has easy, medium, hard. Start with easy. Just keep practicing as you improve. You can click so you can see if you chose the right number or need to try again. The more you play, the less you have to depend on that assistance.

'The harder puzzles have less numbers filled in' (5:00) should be '...have FEWER numbers filled in' as 'numbers' is countable, even with a plural s. Otherwise, very clear, patient and helpful. Impressive graphics too. Thank you.

when i was a kid i always see my grandfather playing this game after buying his newspaper. While eating breakfast i always saw him at the livingroom drinking coffee while puttig numbers at the sodoku paper, and i always ask my gradpa how to play this game. Well, i rlly didnt get what he say because I was 5yrs old that time , So now I got curious on this game I want to teach myself how to play sodoku so when me and my grandfather meet again we will compete with each other hehe
I would like to note that on 2:18 you said to refer to the rows as A to J, but there has been a mistake because the ninth letter of the alphabet is I. Which means there is actually ten letters to refer to the 9 vertical cells which does not make entirely sense to me.

I knew Minesweeper a little bit. I just learned Sudoku yesterday. Chess, I'm able to do better than the average adult, but I'm still learning a lot. I can beat a lot of 1500 bots, but not all. Also, GothamChess has pointed out the brand-new news that Elo isn't very accurate. Plus, bots are usually given extra Elo than what they really are, I hear from some. Shalom. Best wishes. Also, over 50% of the best chess players are fellow Jewish people, like Bobby Fischer, the greatest, Gary, etc. Magnus is cool that he doesn't eat meat, but unfortunately he isn't vegan. He would be much better in his health, and thinking, as a vegan, as scientific studies, many of the world record-breaking athletes, and the longest living tribes show. :3 Cheers!

Trivial help maybe but along with 81 being an important number, each row, cell and block must add up to 45. You can add the digits 1 through 9 or use the Gaussian technique of matching 4 paired numbers equaling 10 (1+9, 2+8, 3+7 and 4+6) summing to 40 plus the 5 in the middle = 45.

Hanna, the letter I might be mistaken for the number 1, so they avoided that letter to eliminate the possibility for confusion.
