@@KabilKabsame here man. My group ran a medium defense mission and we were still not able to finish it due to the broken spawn of enemies not giving any breathing room. They just straight up swarm the extraction facility.
@@BRUHVADO I think these special order missions are already set to certain difficulty no matter what you or it's probably bugged. Considering that the drop ships literally go on top of eachother to drop of armies of tanks and mechs, its probably just bugged and almost impossible.

Im surprised this wasnt a lot easier, i did it yesterday with a group of randoms with no coms. It was by far the most stressful mission i have done so far, but we still did it. I would figure with a group with coms it would be a lot easier
The strat i use is quite simple and can be done with just a duo. Spawn far away from the objective, one person goes to the obj and the others run around the map collecting samples or whatever and that should keep the bots busy and they wont spawn in the obj area. Maybe a ship or two can spawn but thats about it. If someone from the outside gets too close to the obj area, they will start attacking there like crazy or if nobody outside is actively engaging with them. If they do swarm the obj, all you gotta do is leave the area and circle around.
The amount of enemies this mission brings out is ridiculous even on trivial it’s unfair suicide mission and up it becomes downright unplayable too many tanks that never stop spawning I think the best way to beat this is with 4 orbital lasers and maybe 4 rail guns

Use the exploit to get 4 of them if you need to, bring AT LEAST 4 regular and 4 emp and as many other turrets as possible. The emp + regular HE rain of death Completely trivializes the mission fr Also lasers, rails, expendable AT etc. for tanks and hulks
Did it on helldive. Ships were literally dropping bots on top of other ships, phasing through each other. We got it done by leaving the area and dragging all the bots with us. 2 people defending, 1 luring more bots to the 2 and 1 rushing through the settlement with smokes pressing all the buttons 😂
Honestly that'd be fun, like if they want something at Super Earth's doorstep they just crank the difficulty of everything to completely absurd levels until they steamroll their way through
Somehow this was one of my first achievements I just started playing probably the third mission I did and later looked at the achievement list to see how rare it is.
My group and I beat this 8 times for the weekly pretty easily. Didn't fail once. Just have 1 or 2 people rotating between the staff sheds and the others setting up a hard defense cover position. Can usually get all the sheds released once before the enemies even show up. Can't believe only .1% of players have this. Its just to play the mission.
For the more normal missions, the automatons send out dropships at a fair and manageable pace. But apparently evacuating a few civillians from a planet is what makes them send half the damn invasion fleet gunning for you.
I have a theory. I tested how dropships will always drop next to you and given how we have actual outskirts for these missions I wonder if only one person stays at the objective and the other 3 remain in outskirts shooting, would bots drop there instead of next to civvies?
At first, I did this mission solo on 4th difficulty. *That was a BIG mistake.* I extracted when the ship has already left, running around and desperately trying not to die. Worst mission ever, even the vile titans aren't as scary.
Shure but One Guy had four Mortars one three Orbital Lasers and he had three 500kg Bombs that ist the exploid. If you wated you could bring sixteen Mortars in an defense Mission with this . I think its fixes now anyway

The first mission we ever played on this game was a citizen rescue…we managed to complete it but only got 9 citizens out but we tried it later on higher difficulty …IMPOSSIBLE
The mission type itself is quite easy, I've just seen people bringing the weirdest loadouts trying to brute force them when that isn't the way to go if you want it easy.
you can actually just kite all of the enemies away and not kill them, and then go back and press buttons, pretty easy method to win these but you need to be fast about it.
Actually we did do it without the bug go watch the live stream I think about 53mins in is around the time we finish the mission and have to extract but fail to extract and later we fail the mission but was able to extract
It's not even close to hard. The percentage is now at 70 something, but even at launch it was easy. Y'all just caught it right at the start so no one had it yet.
4man each corner. 4 mortars, 4ems mortars, 4 rocket sentries, 4 smoke screens. sit on the buttons and grab some popcorn. free mission... didnt fail once with that strat. happy diving!
there is an achiement for this? i guess only ps5 only because i didnt got one. but here a tip (if you dont already know that 11 days later): drop outside , 3 being loud luring bots away, one goes in open doors. its bit finicky because if one of the 3 gets to close to the compound bots start dropping in and its over, but tis possible. hell today i almost did it with 2 randoms 56/60. and yes even while i winning this mission -+ 50% of the time the mission difficulty need to be nerfed, you won get any wannbe gatekeeping elite talk from me here 😊
I did this by myself bc the quick play is glitched when there was a 0% completion. It's not fun. I was at 6 difficulty instead of 9, so I props to you 0/10 I wouldn't recommend
how is this that hard I did it solo? It took me about 6 tries but I got it done. It was also my first mission I did in Helldivers2 so I figured that had a lot to do with it.

did the devs removed the destruction physics from the ships. why don they just disappear when you shot them? they usually gets destroyed and falls down
this seems to be a Level Of Detail thing, optimisation in other words. At long distances ship wrecks and cyborg turrets do not load (with turrets you can see the gun moving but the turret its attached to won't until you come close). Hopefully devs will tweak it in the future
0.1% of players have ATTEMPTED the mission, not COMPLETED it. It's just because it's a brand new mission type. This is fine if you genuinely didnt know, but it's cringe if you're trying to do a click-bait.
It currently has a 45 percent completion rate. The mission isn’t harder than the horde missions really. The only reason it had a 0.1 percent completion rate is that that percentage was a bug, and we just got access to this mission type for the first time yesterday. In fact it is the primary objective for the next 2 weeks for the community to complete a ton of these with the recent automaton invasion of 2 new planets. So the title here is pretty misleading. Lol.
@@colbyboucher6391 I guess it depends on what difficulty you’re playing on. I was only playing on Medium, but I was also playing solo. I was at higher difficulty so had access to most strategems, so that helped a bit I’m sure. They keep throwing bots at you but there are generally at least 3 doors to summon citizens from. You don’t need to escort them as there are no penalties if they die. Then you just have one or more people making the rounds hitting all 3 doors in a loop as soon as they open, then defend and leave. Most of the citizens actually seem to make it and it doesn’t take much to keep the bots distracted. I’m sure on anything higher it’s a rough go, but no one should be failing this on easy or trivial difficulty and while it may be a pride hit for some teams (I’d argue it shouldn’t matter what difficulty they play on), the fact that you can do this with relative ease on lower difficulties makes it easier than the horde missions, since those only start to show up on Medium (or is it Challenging?) and above so you have a definite skill floor that is higher there from the jump. Plus you are the only target. Even when you run defend missions solo the bots get distracted when you have 12 citizens frantically running for the safe room.

This was lvl 9, two difficulties above yours so that’s probably why.
developers released fix, that reduced this mission difficulty, because it was almost impossible to complete

Which easy, or medium or hard ?
Missile turrets would help you out with emp morters
give the back pack to another player they can reload you instantly
no need to give away the backpack. if a mate is close when you reload, he can assist you.
i did this as my first ever mission because of the order that was given, got very frustatred and alt+f4 the game. Got the achievement tho

No you can't. Either the icon looks the same ( mortar/ ems mortar ) or in case of the eagle strikes you can get a ship upgrade for more charges.

Isn't harder than hoard missions, are you kidding? Probably 4x as many dropships on the same difficulty here AT LEAST. Literally hundreds of bots.
