I'll tell you exactly why it never blew, 1 it's on pacman tv, 2 all these guys were putting too much onto other peoples platforms rather than building there own, there songs would only pop if their audience found it and pushed it around, these times pacmantv etc were releasing like 10-15 tracks a day so a lot didn't reach their potential, if people like Jboy released all his songs on his own channel and built his own channel he would have been much bigger, people like Jboy when I'd show others they would have never heard him before, YT algorithm is all based off clicks and watch time, the competition was too high for pacman tv and the competition unless you were already huge on any of these channels was too big, you would have a song released at the same time as a new SL tack, or 67 or something like that, the reason Harlem and 67 did do so well is cause they released so much on there own channels, they're easy to find all in one place all promoting each others videos, unless you actively listened to jboy, he never popped up

That’s how I listen to rappers tunes and find new rappers. It’s not hard. The tune didn’t do well because Jboy and Tookie aren’t that well known so there would be no point in them making their own channel coz barely anyone would no about it or subscribe to it, especially because neither of these two are consistent artists. So it makes way more sense to put it on a music channel like PacMan or Mixtape Madness because at least more ppl will stumble across it than they would if it was on a personal Channel with only a few hundred subscribers or so.
@@2Sho4Dem RUclips literally sends a max of 3 notifications a day from 1 channel, they were over saturating the channel every day with too many songs that only really ones that were already known would blow, that was my point, every youtuber/artist was not known at some point, that is what the algorithm is for, the algorithm doesn't push 15 videos in one day and it doesn't have specific audiences to work off for each creator, both of those guys if all their songs were on their own channel they would have gotten more views, the reason things like mad about bars works so well for small artists is because it's like 1 a day if that, so people had a chance to find new creators, the only people that would have really watched this would have been returning viewers and ones that knew tookie and or jboy, if it wasn't so overran by other videos the algorithm could have picked out an audience to feed it too, but it would have been people listening to all kinds of different artists that are on pacmantv, it's just how it works, I started my channel with no one knowing who I was it isn't even my real name, the algorithm feeds the videos to people that watch similar content, but when a song like this is releases on a channel like this, the people that see it as you say wont know tookie or jboy so most naturally won't click, which will stop the algorithm sending to new people because existing people didn't click, I could go on for hours, but the simple reason is they released the song on a platform that platformed much bigger artists so ones like this got left by the core audience, if it was on their own channel they built, the core audience that listened to each song and subbed would click on what they release and listen which would do more for the algorithm than what it was on this channel that was just oversaturated, yes obviously you'll say, but some will click and listen and find them through this channel and yes that's true, but some doing it instead of most just brings CTR down massive amounts and makes it less attractive to the algorithm, that's why maybe 1 or 2 on these channels and like a ~MAB or Next up to get your name and channel out there would be good, but just putting everything you do on pacman etc will only help pacman in the long run, every successful artist that released music on these kinds of channels had their own channel where they released most of their music, it's fine to release some on others to help with promotion, but if you don't have your own audience you're always relying on the algorithm of someone elses channel, hence this song didn't do well, there is no where to go see all of tookies or jboys work other than finding them through here
