Not really honestly, hands are usually coordinated together except when using polyrythmes like that 4:3 in the beginning, and then legs can also be coordinated or not depending on if you're doing 16th on the bass or using a hi-hat... So most of the time you're doing 1 or 2 things really, and in some extreme cases you can go up to 4 (poly on hands with a different beat on kick + hi-hat for instance)
Man, I have seen drummers that can’t do a drum roll as smooth on a snare with two sticks as she does with her right foot on the bass drum. She is awesome.
No your just not seeing the other legend drummers like neil peart he was the greatest he did a more longer and smooth drum roll but he died which is sad but he is still a legend of playing drums
