    I sent 27 free samples to 27 different Instagram influencers and thought the sales would come pouring in. And they didn't post Stories, they were Posts and Reels. Crickets. No sales. Zero.

      Hi Amy! I'm so sorry to hear that. I understand how that could be so frustrating. With influencer/media pitching, you want to ensure you're pitching to the right influencers for your brand i.e. influencers/bloggers with good number and active following of your ideal customers. You want to make sure your ideal customers are hanging out in their spaces. It's also okay to send a follow-up email/message just to check in with them and nicely mention if they could feature your brand if they liked your products.

    I am still trying to find THE right products for an online store. I have a fairly good idea what sells at markets but I still need to sharpen my focus. and to find something at a higher price. at the moment I basically have 2 price points. 4 and 8 dollars (roughly translated from my currency) I need something higher that still match my product line. and I need to get it done in time to pitch it to magazines.

      I work with leather and occasionally fabric. I make christmas ornaments that are durable and mostly flat to save space when stored. I would like to branch out to jewelry and to work more with wood. when I work in fabric I use a mixture of machine and hand sewing.@@CreativeHiveCo

      Hi Nini! Thank you for sharing! You want to start by finding your ideal customers first. What is the niche/market you want to target? From here, you can create your product line (and overall style) to what makes sense to your target market/ideal customers. You want to have a cohesive brand that attracts your ideal customers especially at the beginning.
