My experience,Car purchased in 2011. 1st polishing in 2012 and 2nd compounding and polishing in 2019 after 8 yrs (Ford Figo).
Regular washing and waxing after every 2 months as car was rarely used.

100% agree. Bhai ekdam sahi bat boli. India me car detailing business accha grow kar raha he, par bahut kam logoko proper knowledge he. Mene kai bar dekha he ki wenders car ko wash karne se pehle hi rub karte he aur baad me wash karte he, kya ye sahi tarika he?
Agar car 2 nd time paint ho rahi hai, ya uske upar moti rubbing compound use karne ke baad bohot jyada pollutant hai tab aisa karna thik hota hai..Isse time aur material dono kam lagta hai..but car ko diesel marna washing se pahle bilkul sahi nahi hai..Diesel keval diluted use hona chahiye that too on road tar accumulation on car body.
Car rubbing karne se upar ki jo clear coat ki layer hat jaati hai..Usse remove karne ke liye wash karte hai..Ye powder ki tarah lagta hai.
ye sahi tarika hai.

Very informative video sir .. hats off to you...sir I have a 10 months old tigor in dark blue colour..it have very minutes scratches and heavy swrill marks, and 2 days back in a petrol pump someone demonstrate his product on the small part of the car to remove marks ,but after some time the colour of that area has been faded out and marks still visible ..so what should I do to regain its original shine again , ...
1- should I go for rubbing n polishing ?
2- If so then which product is good---
3M rubbing compund OR Wavex final finish compund.
3- can I do shampoo wash to clear my car after 2-3 weeks of rubbing , will shampoo wash remove rubbing n polish coating and swril marks become visible again ?
Actually I don't want to apply rubbing n polish again n again in my car .
4- Is shampoo + polish sufficient to remove swril marks and regain its original colour shine from faded area

Thanks for appreciating my effort, Actually all of us are not informed at time of car delivery that a metallic paint do look great but it has to be maintained.
In your case any good restorer would have used to wet emry your car with 5000 plus grade paper and then process it with a filler and shiner in end.
Now i would suggest to use a liquid based branded shiner just to breathe the scratches as they are irreparable in this one , but the polish can hold its shine for a week to month.depending on climatic exposure.
Best way is to get an emry followed up with a paint sealer or clear coat.Will treat it permanently.

1.Rubbing polishing is not recommended for your case.
2.Polishing will work fine.Use 3m liquid wax or polish after shampoo.
3. And 4. Shampoo and wash is a good remidy until damage is not done.

Sir,nice video.very informative. I have an one month old white car. Generally I wash my with normal water without shampoo. Do shampoo wash after 10-15 days. After shampoo wash with 3m car wash ,I do waxing with 3m cream wax. Will it harm the shine of my car? How frequently should I do waxing? Is polishing required for a new car? Which wax is best Meguiar white wax or 3m wax or Formula1?
No waxing doesn't harm your car paint.Another thing a polish once a month is enough.If you are really keen, do it after a body wash.
Another thing is brands, we are in a phase where almost all products are equally good and do there job well.The name of a brand is all due to its hardworking marketing team.
So choose product which fulfills your requirements under available time.

And they dont require too many polishing.
Compounding and rubbing make shiny layer thinner
Bhaiya Should I use a Complete compound or Polish to remove Swirl Marks?
My vehicle have a black paint job and should polish it after every wash or once month?
And if swirl reappear in a month or two then again should use a complete compound with water?
I have 3m perfect it Finishing compound and meguiar's ultimate polish
You should go for paint jobs if the marks are visible that paint is removed till the base coat.Else you can use this compound to treat hairline scratches.It could be found as our nails can easily glide over such marks.

Get car roof wrapped with body wrappings.
It is a clear way to save.Get only roof done with nice light colour or contrasting colour wrap.Will be done in matter of minutes.
Plus you can get rid of it , if in case you get sick of the same colour.
Otherwise there is no such polish or cream to save car paint from fading slowly in sun.
Try to avoid parking in direct sun.Or use body cover or atleast park in shade at peak hours.
Wax only give a sense of feeling like saving the paint work., Whereas it only contributes in reflacting sun light better through the car surface.

Its a good option, Use it once a month after a complete water wash.Keep car under shade or covered parking/Garage while storing your vehicle if you use sprangly.If you drive it once a week then keep it undershade or a breathable Body cover after washing it..

Hi, I have white nexon car 9 months old.. The car is still shining. Can i use formula 1 wax on it, will it damage car paint in long term? How frequently i can use?
Yes you can use this polish use it once a month..
In my opinion rubbing is not good for car original paint.
Just follow 3 steps in order to maintain the original coating of paint.
1. Wash your car once in month with best quality car shampoo.(Never use ordinary hair shampoo or Fena detergent. )
2. Polish your car once in a month with cream polish. (3M, Amway and Formula one polish are recommended)
3. Always cover your car with waterproof car cover when not in use.
If you follow these 3 steps throughly then your car looks like brand new even after 10 years.

Is it good to do rubbing and polishing once only? I am planning to apply PPF on car and mostly this will be done only once. Car is 6 months old and dont want to do ceramic coating as every year we have to do maintenance coat which means every year we have to do rubbing and polishing. Please suggest. PPF brands which I have choosen are XPPF (korean brand), stek, hexis armor, 3M (normal one which doesnt come with self healing), royal tint, dyno stek effect.

Overdoing will definitely fade paint, ask a professional to do rubbing if you don't have any professional experience to do so..
For hairline scratch,, yes it will work.
If you can feel scratch from your finger nail..

So wax based polish is safe? I have 3m premium liquid polish wax. Can I use it once in a month after washing it properly? Will it damage the paint layer ?

Liquid wax is fast to apply just use a clean and lint free cloth for removing water for drying,excess wax or polishing off the same.

Simply use any reputated brand product.
You can use 3m dry cleaning foam spray.
Its little bit on higher price but the quality and application is superb 👌 In the last there is a vanilla fregrance which leaves in the cabin making it more welcoming 😉.

In wax polish you will have to use a considerable amount of effort to polish the same.

Actually I bought Wagon R almost 4 years ago, and I have never done any rubbing polishing.
I just want to increase my car shine.
If I apply Waxpol Silky touch by myself every month or once in 3 months, I hope I am not damaging my car shine.
Hence wanted to double check with you, If I should go for 3m Wax polish or Waxpol silky touch.

Hello Car Value Services…very informative video to understand “Rubbing and Polishing” for a person who doesn’t know.
Sir I have few doubts: I own a Creta 2019 Model white in colour.
After using it for 1.9 years car got several small small marks on the body and many swirls on the hood.
Yesterday I got my car washed and cleaned in a workshop, where I asked them “how to remove these marks” and the Car looks new and the shine remains.
They advised me for Rubbing and Polishing.
So my question is…should I go for this or not, as the car is still in warranty.
Plus I have seen few products like Turtle Wax Ceramic Coating. Can I use that product without getting my car Rubbed and Polished? Coz I know those marks won’t go by using Turtle Wax, but I will be able to save my clear coat.

These swirl marks are from Dry wiping of car and made by cloth and dust mites..
It is possible that rubbing will work for you. Best is to ask for a sample on a small area.. if results are satisfactory then you can proceed for whole body..
Ask professional to do this job.. any reputed company can do..

साल में एक बार मारुति एजेंसी के ही सर्विस सेंटर पर सर्विस को जाती है और वहीं पर सर्विस के बाद मशीन से रबिंग/पॉलिशिंग करके कार को वापिस कर देते हैं लेकिन 2-3 दिन बाद कार की शाइनिंग हल्की पड़ जाती है। बोनट और डिग्गी पर गोल गोल हल्के स्कैच आए हुए हैं, कलर तो अभी ठीक लगता है।
मेरी कार हर समय खुले में खड़ी रहती है, मतलब धूप, बारिश, ठंड सब झेलती है। मुझको क्या क्या करवाना चाहिए प्लीज बताइए 🙏 अभी कार को कम से कम 5 साल और रखूंगा।

Feel the scratch with fingernail tip, if you can glide over them , they are treatable.
If nail stucks then the scratch is deep.
And you might need to live with it or do a panel paint job

Any normal car polish can cost you 500-900 for a mid segment car.

Bahar karayi hui polish 1 week se 1 month tak rehti hai.Provided aap usko shampoo naa kare.. Every day remove dirt by a soft -dry- clean cloth.Then use a damp soft wet cloth to clean hard dirt or sprinkle water remove it with a wet cloth.Folow drying with a Soft dry cloth.This way you can easily maintain its gloss for even longer.Hope it helps you out.

If I use 3M cream wax after every 3 months to restore the shine of my car...will it harm my car paint or remove the clear coat? Wax use karne se bhi koi dikkat ya nuksaan hai kya sir?
