That was an unusual approach, in 35 years of flying to Lanzarote the plane has always come into the airport over the sea, never flying inland over Arrecife, very strange !

Plus some history of the places you are visiting too would be very interesting indeed! Coming from someone who used to fly! Its just a suggestion Deano! Your "one way" flight with Ryanair reminds of the one and only flight I took with them about 10 years ago. I booked a "normal" 2-way round trip with them, but was so disgusted by their treatment, when I got to my destination, I cancelled the return and booked a separate flight with another airline. Yes that cost me a lot of money, but I will never ever fly Ryanair ever again.

There are hundreds of you tube videos showing this same old Through the airport in to duty free view out of the window to watch the planes and queuing through departure gate etc. etc. for those people to watch if they are that interested.
Love adventures like this. I hate flying , didn't know that when I booked my first holiday abroad...only managed one way on the plane and took 5 days to get home using ferries , trains and public transport 🤣 RUclips wasn't a thing then which is a pity as it would have made for great content....hope you have the best time ever mate 👍

Smoking signs no smoking 🚭 but a cigarette ashtray, I think the plane is a old plane,I remember as a child people smoking on planes
They remain as a safety feature so if someone was to break the rule, there’s somewhere for it go safely
