A monsoonal typhoon is a typhoon located on a low pressure area related with the monsoon winds these typhoons have a large structure and don’t have a well defined eye but they have large windfields and rain bands and cause heavy rain and are slow to intensify e.g Nalgea 2022

Monsoonal Typhoon - that's new to me, lol. But based on what I'm seeing, I think it's an asymmetric system with typhoon-force winds, associated with a monsoon, I believe? Correct me if I'm wrong, lol.
Anyways, Bebinca is no longer here, a TD might form in the SCS, Gordon's remnants could re-develop, and a new area has been highlighted in the western Caribbean. That might be one worth watching...

I never seen the monsoon getting a hurricane or typhoon force winds like i thought that monsoon could no longer sustain once it becomes typhoon but still manage to hangover like really that's a big anomaly for wpac because of course tracks are strange but we knew that for wpac reason but a fricking monsoon typhoon yeah that's abnormal for sure

Not really a monsoonal typhoon is a typhoon with a large broad and spread out circulation located at areas of low pressure associated with the monsoon winds these typhoons don’t have a well defined eye large wind fields and rain bands that cause heavy rain they also intensify very slowly due to their spread out structure e.g typhoon nalgea 2022
