Also Kettlesteam getting distracted by studying the colorful mushrooms is kinda fitting too because crows be like ´oooh shiny´
Rob: "I'm lazy. I don't want 17 npcs in a fight."
Alan: [comically scornful] "this is our DM."
Subtitles: "*Mutinous giggles*"
That was such a great little moment. (Sorry Rob! No respect from these guys!) 😆
None at all. :(
Also... obviously it should be BOB that is the one that gets the ability... if the hag ignores him it means EVERY ATTACK has advantage and every attack is a sneak attack...
He's still get killed somehow, cause BOB 🤣💔
"I don't want to deal with 17 NPCs in combat" is the most true and valid thing I've ever heard from one of these youtube d&d games.
19:45 If there ever was a time to use "No actually, it's gonna be Super Easy, Barely an Inconvenience" and bring it back from like episode 5 it was then! Callback to the 1st season and Ryan George ftw 😁
"BRIAAN!! Brian's not here... AH..." was already died on my chair, then the little gig with Bodger and Greg started and i could not bear the laugh :D
you guys can make me laugh outloud completely by my self as only Terry Pratchet books could do before.
I'm not comparing his universally recognized fantasy comedy with your contemporary, kind of targeted one, but i feel you guys are on the verge of something greater than you can ever imagine and the kickstarter is the proof of that!
Just to be clear this episode is full of gold
Baradun is just so proud of who he is! He's learning humility in general but he's so proud of his history!!!!
By the seven peaks of Mt. Celestia, an honest to goodness game of D&D with actual strategic planning, and only minimal metagaming at that! You've all come a long way and this series is more enjoyable now than ever.
Oh I would LOVE to see the party meet Zaza next. Imagine the -sassy talk- conversation...
Ego-off between Baradun and Zaza 😎
I love how Adam ALWAYS has to look up Scabithas name but remembers almost everything else. And godamn, whoever played the robot did an incredible job, the movements are amazing!!
That was Adam
@@VivaLaDirtLeagueDnD thx, I was almost positive it was Rowan for some reason :) Great Job Adam!!
i really want to see a ,,behind the screen,, where it is explained what was bavlona's weakness and how they whould have found out what her weakness was.
Boy, have I got news for you! Rob streams on Twitch: RobertHartleyGM, every Monday he'll review the episodes, occasionally revealing things Baradun and the Dickheads missed
Thanks Jim! Also, her weakness was if they ran widdershins. There was an NPC in the swamp who knew and would have told them.
@@VivaLaDirtLeagueDnD For the rest of us in the US, I think he is saying "counterclockwise".
@@dorindacourtine-white8386 thank you 😂
@@dorindacourtine-white8386 Or the rest of the world 😲
what twists, and what turns. for more of this series, my body yearns
Again I know better then to eat or drink when watching y'all. The warforge just walked between bob and baradun, almost choked on my peanut butter sandwich lol
Bravo Adam! The multitasking two-at-once Baradun-and-14 dialog was excellent 👏👏👏
(Plus a very suave dimension door, and some top notch fourth-wall-breaking... All-around quality day for Baradun 😁)
Baradun: Why do you have a cornish pasty on your forehead?
No. 14: I am Worf Forged.
Baradun is slowly building up his henchmen before the final boss
The proud smile of Rob watching his little boys grow up
"Must have been the wind." 5:53
- Bob , Baradun
Rob looked extremely surprised and happy when Adam said he was using dimension door
They are learning, they are evolving
I think that Alan is making Greg roleplay his Actor Feat.
All his pyromaniac instincts? It's Greg acting as Bodger would do, should Bodger had a Poppy:
"I'm Bodger and I bodge"
Im bodger i bodge
This needs to be some sort of mene
23:52 Missed opportunity to call that this is also the same weakness the whole party has about Kettlesteam :D also I hope they realize that Wotsit can possibly transform into one of the moths
I thought that same thing!
I love how proud Rob is when they figure out how to deal with the moth/scabatha problem
"Oh my God.
How do we ever survive anything?"
Kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk pure gold, just pure gold.
Alan: "Urg I can't believe this is our dm, so lazy, its not like he has cards to read or something"
I binged the whole lot over the last week or so, brilliant series
Glad you’ve finally found us! 😍
That username is worthy of Lord King Sir Conrau!
welcome to the "Ah it's finally Thursday!" club
There is only one person more stealthy than Bob: Kenkun/kettlesteam
I need more than 30 minutes of this every week.
Absolutely!
Was anyone else waiting for Greg to realize he'd spent so much time catching butterflies that he might be able to act like one of the moths?
For what purpose?
@@Shadow-hm3uq I dunno. Something creative 🤷🏻♂️. Get 2 people close to Skabatha instead of just 1? Something else?
@@Another64driver Greg is probably the worst for that tho...
I almost cried a little when Ben said we had to wait for the next session, until the up next came up! Hopefully meaning it's already recorded.
Love your content guys, it's making my Covid/Pericarditis feel a whole less shittier.
Oh yes, we have the next 10 or so episodes filmed. and we're soon recording the NEXT ten or so after that too!
@@VivaLaDirtLeagueDnD post more than 2 times a week please 😁
@@VivaLaDirtLeagueDnD I don't know who replies to these comments, I'm gonna assume Rob, but I just wanted to thank you for being so engaging and overall brilliant.
Now, just so I'm not too nice; I have to inform you that you smell.
@@KillerKegsey1 your mother was a hamster and your father smells of elderberries!
I think the plan is simple; release one moth with Bob standing there, she sees nothing wrong, and bob Assassinates her with advantage Sneak Attack. No combat even involved if done right.
Yep! And doing things right is BatD's Modus Operandi...
_Release_ the moth? He is a _bat_ when he goes up there, he can just eat it. Best way to ensure nobody ever finds it. Plus, free dinner.
@@syncagrayI have seen the future, and that course of action is NOT recommended! 😂
This is the most I've laughed all week, dear lord. So happy to see Number 14!!! Him going straight through Baradun and BOB had me in stitches. Baradun is so epic, awesome quick thinking. I hope he wins the prize draw. When you guys laugh I laugh. Thanks for brightening the week as always.
Fourteeeeen, my boooooyyyyyy!
Yep! He's finally under no-one's control.
"You guys are getting good at D&D"
And it took them only 83 episodes
But it definitely lasts through into the next table session too...
I really love the subtitles at 16:54 “Ut’s funushed” haha
At this point i'm convinced that Kettlesteam will have the most important role at the end of this campaign
... no comment
They'll be sorry that they were so mean to her!
Yeah, that would be some really cool character building
I love seeing the characters from the Isolation Games coming back! Which begs the question of whether we will get any follow-up with Alan's character...
Plan A - a very complicated and round about plan which has at best a 20% chance of working
Plan B - Just burn it all down
I know which is my favourite to see
I wanna see Plan A fail so that we see both
@@diesertyp9081 i think its a safe bet to say Plan A will fail. lol
I love seeing Rob looking at the players like a proud dad. Also it’s sad that I was impressed by the moth solution, I guess my expectations are a little low after 82 episodes 🤣
I get the feeling Rob was hinting something with that key? Maybe if bobs plan actually works, he could remove the key during battle?
If winding it one way makes her go faster, maybe winding it the other way will make her go slower?
Greg's cracking further, this PTSD slide is getting steeper.🤣
I have been Bing watching this series for days and finally caught up. Loved every minute, you guys are awesome!
I just want to say thank you! I got infected with Corona and had to quarantine for the last two weeks. Binge watching your campaign really got me through this!
I'm so proud of these goofballs. It's taken 83 episodes but they learned how to play D&D. Amazing.
I literally only came to RUclips for this today. Man, it feels great having a weekly series where you have to wait for the schedule release before you can continue the story. Why doesn't everyone do this? XD
I wish they had gotten Bavlorna's weakness as I'd love to see them running widdershins while trying to fight her in the green screen
Ben: "She (Kettlesteam) is becoming my favorite character!"
Me: "WOW somebody finally being converted to my side >) "
I love this episode ! The running gag joke of KettleSteam is soooooo brilliant!
I love how you guys take the time to go back and act out the best bits. It really adds something extra special to the videos. Thank you!
Very engaging episode! Number 14 was a nice surprise. I hope they will meet Zaza too :D
It is adorable that Adam can still blush!
The start of this campaign was my main catalyst for me to be a DM for a D&D 5E campaign. That moment at 28:17 is so real. As a DM, I felt such pride for the players when they successfully D&D'd their way through the dungeon/boss in a near-optimal way. "They're learning" :'-)
Winner in the category of best timed RUclips ads. Right after Rob says "the dark elf says" on comes someone singing "it's alright, have a good time, 'cause it's alright"
Rob did such a good job painting these hags. Gave me hag vibes from Howls moving castle every time i hear them.
Kencun's consistency of being forgotten is making her my favourite character so far. hahaha
May I suggest the purchase of a 3D printer for "THE GREAT EXPANSION", so VLDL can MAKE your own figures?
To scale!
I can picture #14 as a BFG & CYBERMAN Hybrid...
Omg, and fans could submit 3D files for the characters!! I'm sure there's a group of crazy talented individuals who could create fantastic figures.
Dude I was starting to think that they would never think of getting rid of a moth glad they did and as always this was a great episode
Now we absolutely need a Bodger interacting with Zaza!!
The “Lore drop” was awesome today. Loved the connection with #14. Great episode!!
Lol im re-watching this and Robs evil smile while they're talking about getting rid of the moths is priceless. He barely held that in. 😂
One of the odd things I really enjoy is Bens haircut changing and Robs beard.
I don't know why but it adds to my chuckles
It's all down hill from here.
Best quote ever
They are doing it. They're really doing it. They are D&D-ing. They have begun to...believe.
Every episode i need a reminder that kettleback exists
That shield making skits almost as good as the Legend of Dirks Locket
When I saw the title, I was so worried that Baradun died this episode and Adam had to continue on as Number 14! Glad that wasn’t the case. 😅
This episode was awesome as always! So looking forward to next weeks episode! I think Bob has a good plan but I have a feeling it's not gonna work like he plans...lmao
Whaaat? But their plans are always perfectly executed...
My name is steeveee!!!!!!
God dammit Adam, it got me every time. I don't know how Rob is handling you guys
I think it's so cool to watch how you guys have evolved in DnD. It's always a bit weird at first, and once you get passed being self-conscious, it's easy to get lost.
Rob I totally get your unwillingness to play a dozen npcs in one fight.
As a DM, I feel it in every cell of my being...
19:44 getting out of there was super easy, barely an inconvenience.
Just noticed that in the Kencun skit/scene, both BOB and Kencun are wearing shorts. It must be hot in the swamp.
It’s VERY hot in the swamp…
(Also very hot in the studio we hire to film greenscreen in… looking forward even more to our new studio!)
