As the younger sister of a severely autistic brother. My parents had my brother first then two more myself and my other older brother. I had an amazing childhood including my autistic brother. He helped mold me into the caring understanding person I am today. It’s not always a bad thing to have more kids after a disabled child. Some people are just not cut out for it and I understand that. My mom is an amazing woman who was absolutely meant to be a mom. She was also a full time elementary school teacher. She raised us all with so much love and equal attention. Yes Christopher required extra attention but we understood it was necessary but not because he was loved more. He passed away years ago and I came to a realization that may help make this make sense to people. Christopher held a special place in all of our hearts. Not loved more but just very guarded by all of us. He was our very special brother who was so innocent and sweet. He loved his siblings and once we had kids he loved his nephews too. Amazing brother and uncle till the end.

I am so happy someone else had this experience, I lost my older brother in 2019, he had a million and two issues, including autism (and so many more rendering him unable to walk, and always had seizures) the doctors (before I was born) told my mom that he wouldn’t live passed 18, and he made it to 30! (I was actually 18 when he passed away) they truly do broaden your perspective on life and how much love can be processed without a single word to be said

Take him to a hospital to visit some of these children with these birth defects and let him see firsthand what kind of Life they lead and how they struggle!
It is the ultimate cruelty to a child to bring them into this life with that much pain!

Sometimes others can see the red flags long before you do. Listen carefully to what your parents are saying then look out for what they see.

Thank you for sharing! When you give your wedding dress to your daughter, it's more than just a gift. It's a gesture of love and memories. The idea of letting her personalize it for her own wedding day is beautiful.

Idk you all sound like horrible people. It's shitty the fil was going to change things but then you decided to ruin everyone's life because you wanted money.
