We have all the same tools and I hold my MobileSentrix parts the same way in the binders.
That's great. It's a great solution!
Great informative video.
They charged me 270 dollars for the same problem, do you think it's a good price or did they see my face?
Who is "they"? We charge a little less than that
I notices before you start changing the charging port, the ribben was lifted from the board but good repaires.
Thank you! Appreciate the support!
Bro, ive got a PTMS7260 super small ic heating near the battery of a vivo phone. But unluckily i cant find datasheet on the web.
Ah that sucks. Not sure about that one.
My favorite thing about this was the binder with the small components! Best organizational tip I've seen all year. 10/10
Thank you! The binder saves so much space!
There goes a good charging port in the landfill wey!
probably
What is the part number of those coils around the PMIC? Need replace 4 and cant find :-(
No idea. I just pull from other iPads that look similar. So far, that method has worked for me.
Informative and a really nice manner. Thank you for the upload, very much appreciate it.
Glad it was helpful!
Well done! Thank you much for sharing
Glad you enjoyed it!
You wasted a good charging port you couldve directly checked it with a voltmeter
He didn’t waste it, he can still use the old charging port on a different repair because he still have that part in a good condition
Possibly.
Nice
Thank you for watching
Easily of checked the bypass to rule a tristar 👍
Do you have a video of this process?
@@VCCBoardRepairs no but i do this work on the daily. I work in a shop. Pull up shemactic, Tristar and check bypass capacitor. Personally i user Tristar tester as an indication only. Personally i do not remove the shield i grind and hatch because the amount of heat to pull that shield generally soaks thru and desolders the charging port from its pad. Its not criticism and i dont need to be on youtube to know what im doing.
Oh. I was just asking if you had a video on how to do your suggestion.
It'd be helpful for anyone coming across this comment
@@VCCBoardRepairs im a long time subscriber and admire your videos. I will be using your technique to remove ports. I normally use low melt and heat with hot air. Its a better way the way you do.
Very clean Work nice video
Thank you! Appreciate the support!
@@VCCBoardRepairs you Welcome bro

I’m using the same hot air station, I can take the chip off without any problem but chip is going away with the air pressure when I want to solder the new one, can you please help me, what I’m doing wrong?
@SocalDigitalRepair please help me.
@@disfircasi00 use sticky flux and turn down the air a little
It will take practice. Watch many videos & pay attention to the technique and you will improve.
