Thanks for the great video. Quick question. When you cut acm (specifically I use Grimco Max Metal) are there any burs? And does it round the edges or cut it straight and clean? I'm tired of cleaning up edges . . . . Thanks in advanced.
Thanks for the review, I had a question...do you still use the table saw to make your long cuts? For example, if you had to cut a 4x8 sheet down to 3x6 how do you make your long cut that is over 65 inches?
Thanks! If you are referring to a RIP on a 4x8, then yes... only way to get a good cut along the 8' length. Fortunately, it's quite rare we have to do that.
@@Novoworks Thanks for the quick reply! We are contemplating purchasing this cutter. We do a lot of flat MaxMetal signage and most of the time they have long edges like 3x6 or 2x8 for example for storefront signage. I am trying to determine if it's worth buying since we have to use the RIP saw regardless. We would only be able to use this machine to cut one edge essentially in those scenarios.
@@JHDesignPRO - Gotcha, something to consider then. We do many smaller jobs, 24"x36", 18"x24", 12"x18" and of course custom sizes. Lately on the 8' and 10' signs that are not the full 4', we've been able to order from our supplier already RIP'd down for us to save us the trouble 😀
The problem I have is that it never cuts straight. if you measure to length and bottom length it is off. Let me know if you have the same problem of how to fix this issue.
Thanks for the great video. Picking up a used one this weekend.
Glad to help... let me know how it goes!
Helpful Video!
Thanks, glad to hear!

Thanks waldo :D

That's what is great... as I show in the video, nice clean cuts! No filing, etc.
Will it cut .040 aluminum?

There are many adjustments that can be made.... Check out the manual here - www.fletcher-terry.com/files/2314/0241/1689/FSC_Manual-ENG_.pdf
