I wish I could bite the bullet and buy Daily Journal... I just cant get there with the valuation and what the future looks like. I love Charlie... it's so annoying. Great conversation though.
The thing with Daily journal is that you have this internal dissonance, because you know the business is going to be set up structural in the right way, and you know the stewards of the business will operate with the utmost integrity. I can see the moat, I cant cant get my head around the meaning, or what the business does, and cant see the margin of safety because alot of the future returns are off the books.
