I'm with you Jen, I get so sad when I have to take all of my Christmas down. I'm glad you are feeling better, I know how rough it is being sick especially during the holidays. Hope you’re on the mend Jen! Our Christmas plans were cancelled as someone else had the flu. My immediate family had a nice quiet relaxing day, which was actually nice. 😊 I am team comfy clothes when I am working around the house! I got my decor down two days after Christmas. When the festivities are over I crave that clean slate. Your decor was so beautiful this year, thanks for sharing!
Hi! Thank you so much, I'm feeling back to normal now. So many people got sick these last few weeks. I agree about the clean slate after it's over. I don't even want to keep using greens and 'winter' type things once Christmas passes, LOL In my mind it's spring already. 😉 Happy Sunday!

Hey Jenn.. Glad you’re feeling some better.. we all had an upper respiratory “thing” in our group but we’re mostly well for Christmas.. Glad you’re Christmas was good.. ours was also very nice but I too struggle with the Holidays.. I usually start to feel better when it’s over even though we have some very blessed time spent with each other.. Finished most of the “take down” yesterday.. always glad to get that done. So excited for your family room project!! We too have a family room revision to start soon.. our will be enlarged.. it’s quite small.. a contractor will do the bulk of the work but we’ll do the “fine tuning” 😅 Looking forward to the new year and traveling along on these ventures! Hi Jen! Your new coffee maker and microwave are gorgeous!❤❤ I'm glad you are feeling better. We had a bug/virus go through our home as well.. not only around Christmas but Thanksgiving too. Ugh! We were snowed in one day so we had to postpone Christmas- not a big deal though. New Year's worked out for the family. I have taken down my gingerbread kitchen decor to prepare for winter decor, but the rest of my house is still Christmas. But thanks for the motivation. Isnt it nice to kind of start over fresh. Yes! I sure feels good to start fresh. Especially here in FL where we don't get snow and our January temps fluxuate into the upper 60s and sometimes low 70s some days. It just doesn't feel like winter after Christmas here. Glad you guys are feeling better too!
Hi jen, i always get a bit sad when christmas is over...i dont like winter and for me dreaming of christmas starts right after christmas 😅😅 but there is january and february.. i have to go through it! I totally agree! I do love spring and fall as well, basically I don't enjoy summer but there's something about January and February that are particularly gloomy. Sending you a hug my friend, we will get through this together!
