  • I’ve owned this car since 2016 and I’ve done a ton of work to it throughout the years. The car is a turn key driver that is reliable and ready to be enjoyed by it’s new owner. I’ve found another car I’d love to buy so this car is for sale.
Body & Frame: The body is in really nice shape with no rust and just a little bit of filler in the rear tail pain which appears to be concealing a small dent vs rot. The package tray is perfect. The car is painted in single stage Ford “Fieldstone Grey” by Derek Pesko of All Star Hot Rods. He also louvered the hood. Charlie “One Arm Bandit” pinstriped the car. I wire wheeled the floors when I got the car and KBS coated them. I found two small floor patches under the front seat. The rest of the floor is super clean. This car was a frame of restoration at some point that was its a nice straight frame with solid cross members.
Mechanical: The car has 1949 8BA Flathead with Offenhauser heads ,Fenton two deuce intake running two brand new Stromberg 97’s. The car has a mallory electronic ignition. eThe heads and intake were tumbled and clear coated The motor is bored 30 over. The original 3 speed puts the car through the gears with ease. I rebuilt the transmission in 2019 with all new seals & bearings The banjo rear is 3:54. The car does 80mph effortlessly on the highway. The car is converted to 12v with modern wire and fuse panel. I also installed a mooneye’s mechanical gauge set under the dash.
A Powermaster Generator charges a brand new battery. The gas tank is a replaceme tank. The car has dual exhaust with Fenton header & glass packs that sound killer!
Suspension & Brakes: The car has a Posies reverse eye spring up front with a Nostalgia Sid's dropped axle with a Speedway hydraulic shock set up. I run a Chassis Engineering sway bar to reduce any body roll. The rear spring is a Posies lowering spring with og aftermarket hydraulic shock set up. I went through all the brakes and installed all new rubber lines, metal lines, dual master cylinder, and wheel cylinders four years ago. The front brakes are upgraded 1953 Ford F100 which are self energizing and self adjusting Tires are a year old 5:90-15 up front and 8:20-15 Firestone wide whites. Wheels are mid 50’s Ford rims powder coated red with your choice of Olds or Stude caps . Rear bumper is ribbed aluminium. Front nerf bar is off an old PA 40 Ford hot rod.
Interior: The cars interior is in very good shape with no rips or tears in the headliner. The front carpet was replaced with a rubber mat. The firewall has been completely dyno- matted as well. The rear seating area is carpeted. The front and rear seats have vintage seat covers installed by Kustom Mitch Upholstery. The spring are in good shape and the seat does not sag. The rear seat is extremely nice. The dash
features lots of chrome plating including both ashtrays and instrument cluster cover. The steering wheel is 48 Ford out of an old CT hot rod.
I am asking $24,500 or best reasonable offer. The car is located in Connecticut.
