The pop Kirby will get when he hits the Zoidberg Elbow will be astonishing. I remember seeing Kirby wrestle in a small local wrestling company near me in Wigan a few years ago and even then he was entertaining. Glad to see him getting some more exposure.

I think Bradshaw represents what 'WCPW' wants most of the time that supports the faces but with Kirby he is on Adam and the 'WCPW' side as in "Adam was right". So Kirby is kinda a grey area.
The way I see it, Dave Bradshaw's commentator persona is to basically kiss Parmesan's ass, who's become heel, thusly making him a bit of a hypocrite when supporting faces. Much more interesting than face and heel commentators imo.
I like that they don't change their opinions about liking or not liking someone based on the face/color commentator persona they have. Dave doesn't like Kirby and he will never like Kirby. Alex will always like Kirby and excuse anything he does. I love listening to them.

At some point, on an upcoming episode, Kirby needs to chase Bradshaw away from the commentary table and just take over for the last few segments of the show. He threatened to get much more annoying last week, but I haven't seen anything yet. I'm not sure how good just beating up on the designated jobbers every week is for Kirby's momentum. I think it was a bad attempt at a joke aimed at the Smark audience who knew Ligero's real origin. It might have been better if Ligero wasn't a super serious tryhard babyface - such characters need to be presented as credible.

I really don't get the appeal of Kirby. I know he'll eventually win the Belt; it would be bad booking not to put on a guy that's this over with the fans. But I really don't want to see that happen.
People find him funny, and he actually works good matches. WHats not to like? Its not my sense of humour but I do like to see him working in a ring as there is a damned good wrestler under the sillyness.
I really hate what the are doing with the commentary. Bradshaw whined and complained when Blampied interfered in matches and now Pacitti does it its fine. It marks him out as the clear heel in this situation then he is back to babyfacing it on the rest of the show. Its really annoying.

I hate this more than listening to a heel commentator take the heel's side. I think it's because in wrestling, we're kind of conditioned to believe the babyface announcer and see him as credible. So when a guy who's always told the truth and been the voice of reason in the past starts burying somebody who no longer deserves it (because really, what terrible, heelish things has Kirby done LATELY?), it feels like a betrayal. Maybe I sound like a mark who's forgotten that it's all fake when I say that. I know that they're actually trying to get Kirby over and that Dave's just saying what Blampied wants him to, etc. Still, it bugs me.
I sort of see where you are going with this, but I think it would be worse if the commentators switched their support on him. Face/Heel dynamic aside, there is also a Straightman/Goofball thing going on with Bradshaw and Shane, and Bradshaw is definitely the serious one. I'd have a hard time buying the equally bombastic Shane burying Kirby for his dickhead antics, and the serious Bradshaw supporting them. The best solution might be for both announcers to support him, but at this point Bradshaw can't just change stances without reason. Perhaps Adam P. has to do something utterly reprehensible to change Bradshaw's mind.
