Great reaction. The original 80s TV series had well-regarded British actor Edward Woodward in this role. He looked like a retired bank manager, but switched on the scary incredibly well. The premise was exactly the same - a former super-spy looking for some kind of redemption by using his skillset to help others. How he dealt with bad guys was classic, and the exact same as what we see here. He'd always start with a peaceful approach and offer. That offer was usually moderate - "Just walk away" or "You've made plenty of money, now it's time to cash in", sort of thing. The bad guys would invariably refuse, whereupon the Equalizer would start dismantling their entire set-up. As Denzel's version put it so well, "....Dollar by dollar, brick by brick, body by body....". All done very precisely and with no collateral damage, I should add. Well before the final resolution, the opening offer would start looking rather reasonable. Denzel's version of the Equalizer is very different to the original, but captures the spirit exceptionally well.
Still waiting on your Equalizer II reaction and since you have seen Man on Fire then you will love Equalizer III. I hope you will do those reactions and the story lines for each of these movies are different and are more emotional. I am a new subscriber.
Alot of assassins in movies have OCD characteristics that's what makes them efficient killers. Go watch Sylvester Stallone in the movie......ASSASSINS...then get back to me
@@LetsWatchTV89 1999 Korean movie Audition is really good...its a slow burn but pays off very well....its definitely not for kids nor can many adults handle it.
This was a nice reaction I enjoyed it but don’t be fooled about Russians they are nice people I don’t know why they keep disrespecting and showing them to be bad in movies 🎥
REALLY? There is Russian mafia/organized crime, just like Italian mafia, Mexican Mafia, Chinese Triads, Japanese Yakuza, and the list goes on, and they are brutal as anyone. So why shouldn't we make movies about it? There is good and bad in all nations, etc. Don't be naive.
Honey can be used an an antiseptic and antibacterial property.

Denzel was asked to do the 80's show first. He said he would have done it but he was on a popular hospital show called St elsewhere.
@@punkem733 I remember that show quite well. I am surprised that he was considered that far back.
