Against some characters, it is easier to get all 5 hits from 214S by jump-cancelling 5M and doing it in the air. Otherwise you can delay 5M slightly and use 214S on the ground. The difficult part of this combo is to get 5LLL after the 214H, as you’d need to connect air dash dj.M very close to the ground. #2(00:28) - Corner 236[H] juggle sequence. At the very beginning after j.236H[8], tap j.L while falling to knock the orb backwards to set up the later part where Beerus kicks the orb upward with 2H into 236[H]. Be reminded that when Beerus’ normal connects on an orb, even if the normal whiffed on the opponent, you can still cancel it into a special move. The juggle sequence with two 236[H] was shown by Talios (twitter.com/TaliosDrakei ) recently. #3(00:39) - Corner orb formation from M-autocombo side-switch with orb set up beforehand . With a lingering orb couple of steps away from the corner beforehand, you can knock the opponent out of the corner with 5MMM into the lingering orb and use its hitstun to buy time for 236S. The upper left orb from 236S would connect on the opponent to allow for Vanish, and then you can extend combo with the remaining orbs as you see fit. #4(01:01) - Corner orb formation from 236H[2]. 236[H]2 deals enough hitstun for 236S to activate. Beware that if you used 236S ASAP after 236[H]2, the opponent would be a bit too high above ground, and the upper-right orb would connect heads on. This would not give you enough frame advantage to link 5L or 5M after 236S. Instead, delay 236S very briefly to allow the upper-right orb to hit meaty. This only means the combo would only work on characters whose hurtboxes are small enough to avoid the area of the upper-right orb. #5(01:19) - More corner orb formation from 236H[2] . The beginning part follows the same idea as in #4. Afterwards, 2H would allow one of the orb to be position a bit away from the corner. This allows j.214L to whiff on that orb, so that after j.214L Beerus can tap on that orb with j.L and extend into further combo. In the later part of this combo, I set up another orb in this way, so that I could use j.214M after j.214H and get a whiffed Vanish (normally if you connect j.214L/H right after j.214H, whiffing Vanish is not possible due to lack of juggle height). #6(01:42) - Rampage loop on ZBroly from M autocombo sideswitch. The cross-under 2M > 5M only works on a few characters, and the following 5H > 214L seems to only work on ZBroly (214L would whiff on others). You can also combo the cross-under 2M right into SD for a midscreen re-jump if you want (possibly a j.H-5L link as well?). #7(01:53) - Corner 236[H] juggle sequence by sandwiching the opponent in air with orbs. After 5H with smash in the corner, you can get the lower orb from 236[H] to connect easily. I used Cell as the dummy because it’d make the later part in the air easier (sandwiching with orbs). #8(02:14) - Limit Break Sparking 100% combo with Lv.1 Super and corner orb formation from 236H[8] and L autocombo. Unfortunately, 236S would whiff on a lot of characters. Mostly the same ideas shown in the earlier combos. Note that you need to inch forward a little bit after Sparking in order for 236S to connect. You can do this by simply holding on to 6 a little and slightly delaying S while inputting 236S.

I don't think the intrinsic process of piecing things together can be "taught", but then all these long descriptions I wrote under all my videos and my Assorted Combo Demo series are basically me telling ("teaching") my viewers how different properties of moves are utilized in different combos. Take a read if you are interested. Otherwise, take the time to test and just try random things in practice mode until you are comfortable with a character's combo routes.

Taking this video for example, there's nothing not basic about Beerus kicking his orbs around because that's literally his character design. It's then up to the player to figure out the best way to arrange things together to form a cohesive combo with a particular goal (damage, style, etc.)
That third combo is so interesting like that's is wild using the 2H to get that angle on the ball is so cool would've never thought of that really cool man

How are you getting that low bounce off of 236s in #5 and others like it? I'm trying to do it and they keep floating upwards and not crashing down like in your vid.
a shame that these 236S corner combos are not usable against every charakter he has too much stuff that works just on enemys with specific hitboxes. but i love him, from season 1 on
@@NarratorSama Her ability to absorb doesn't really affect combos in training mode because you can just set her moves to your preference. It's the change to some of the properties of those stolen moves compared to S1 that made her much more straightforward in combos now. She used to be able to link off stolen moves easily. Even if they can be used only once they could still benefit her combo game a lot if they had the old properties.
So the orbs @ 11:56 just pushed out and reached Cell to continue the combo. Did it always do that and I missed something or is there a certain input or condition that has to happen?
Unfortunately most of the combos here are very character specific due to minor differences in hurtboxes. A few (like #2) work on multiple characters but could be of quite different rhythm from character to character.
@Josef Fritzl You don't have to perceive it as a 5M starter combo. You can combo into 5M from 2L or 5L or any jump-in as well. 5M is very useful as you can do the M auto combo that causes wall bounce and pushes them out of the corner, which can be followed by an L auto combo to put them back into the corner. You can then follow that with a 214L rejump sequence or something. Normally it leads to very good damage for Beerus. If started with 2M, you can simply go for routes not involving 5MMM.
