I feel like having such a great quality content in interior photography on youtube is rare, thanks for that
That means so much, we're glad you enjoyed the video, Flo! What content would you like to see in the future from us?
Would love to see editing process, good job, keep doing it
Hi Arturo, big fan here! I got a question: i shoot on Sony a7iv and i have the new 16 35 mk2 and 12 24. Between buying canon ts 17 and 24, and using the cambo actus g, what is going to give me the best quality result? :) thanks
2:06 walls white balances are different at different camera angle frames
You are right, thank you for pointing it out!
Beautiful
Love your style and camera gear :) so inspiring
Where can I buy camera cover? Please Advise Thanks
i'm also doing real estate video and photo. Guys, you are so inspiring ! everything look perfect everytime. i love that details caring !
In love with your work. Please do a video on the gear you use. Looks really interesting. Big fan. Please do keep inspiring.
Oh thanks dude! We will definitely do, good idea.
Hey there 😊
What’s the point of the black fabric stuff around the camera?
Cambo Actus G, shifting
Incredible to see! Not lighting or tethering but still stunning photos! 🤌🏽
Oh thank you so much Amanda! Not flash but we are tethering wirelessly
Which preseat or lut are you using to edit video and photos?
I tether directly to iPad with a cable using an app called 'Cascable'. Until Capture One for iPad is out, I've found this is the best option. Currently I have an iPad with Lightning Port so I have to use an 'Apple Lightning to USB-3 Camera Adapter' with a USB-C to USB-A tether cable. If you have an iPad Pro you won't need an adapter, just a USB-C to USB-C cable. The app is fairly quick and its a nicer work flow having the iPad vs a computer when on location. Hope this helps!
Correction,, It appears Capture One is now available for iPad. Looks like I'll be giving that a try, lol. Cheers!
Great behind the scene and amazing photos. Can you make a video about that Cambo Actus G? I am curious about it. Is it a solution to bring "tilt-shift" into apsc system?
So many people are asking for it I should do a video about it
@@ArturoLauren DEFINITELY!!! Please . That will be awesome
what focal length were you using on those wide angle shots? thanks :)
16-35mm full frame equivalent
Do you have a video on your editing process? your works are so great!
Thank you! We don't but we are going to release a course on architecture filmmaking later this year arturoandlauren.com/sign
So I am a growing photographer, and a relative of mine asked if I can take photos for her interior design portfolio, and now I am doing some research into this. What lenses would you recommend for anything like this? I shoot with a Canon 70D.
👌👌👌👌🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌 Beautful!
Thanks Juliana!!
This is great. What is your bracketing process (number of exposures, stops in between, etc.)? Whenever I try and do brackets I can never get the colors right.
A 5 shot bracket with a stop difference in between
@@ArturoLauren wow, I know 3 shot bracket blend: dark+middle+bright, how do you blend 5 bracket? It would be interesting, Could you do small tutorial your blending process?
@@denisl1071 manual blending (so tedious hehe)
Great job. I just have one question, why are you using an APS-C camera rather than a Canon 5d mark IV or Canon R6? Especially since you have Canon lenses :)
Keep up the good work and thank you for these great videos!
Thanks for the sweet words Guillaume! We use mirrorless apsc Fuji cameras to be able to play/shift with the projected image circle thanks to the Cambo Actus
@@ArturoLauren ok thank you :) I ask because I do real estate photography and I want to improve my equipment. I work with 5D mark III + Canon 16-35 f/4 L.
Which camera + lens would you go for in my case? an advice ? many thanks !
@@guillaumecouet1294 I think your camera is more than enough for real estate photography to be honest. If you plan to do video then you can upgrade to the eos r6 or r5 or even a c70
Nice work., is that a FujiFilm X-T4 you're using, and what lens ?
Thanks for your kind words Sean. Yep, xt4. We use different native prime and zoom lenses. Also a Cambo Actus G with canon ef mount glass
Hi, what is the app for camera remote are you using with Fuji?
We are using Camranger 2
great idea with 11-24 shift lens on a crop body
I love it actually, it produces great results
Hermosas imágenes, chicos. Saludos fotónicos!
Gracias de verdad Edwin!!
Very pure results! Are you shooting HDR too occasionally?
Oh thanks! We never do HDR but we do bracket and manually process the different resulting layers. Not an easy task
@@ArturoLauren Nice! Would love to see a tutorial on this!
What exactly does the cambo do for you, are you only using non tilt shift lenses with the cambo?
It’s like a view cam that allow us to compose and shift. We don’t use shift lenses with it
So I have the gfx100 but I’m having trouble knowing what lenses to adapt to it since the gf line is so limited on their lenses right now. Any guidance there? Something wide enough.
@@jaredmarkfincher2196 It's a different story with the GFX through... Because in our case We are working with the image circle of full frame lenses with apsc bodies (xt4). If I were you I'd adapt Canon ts-e lenses with a simple electronic Gfx to Canon adapter. So many people do it. The other option is to go for the Cambo, they're selling a fre Cambo Actar lenses, but you're not going to have much room to shift with a medium format body. What do you think?
@@ArturoLauren yep so that’s what I currently have and doing, I have the canon 17mm ts - and it seemed to work on the gfx 50r fine but when I put it on the 100 the corners are so dark on it and it just can’t take in the 100mp like the Fuji native glass. Womp womp womp. I was thinking Art was using the 100s and had a work around. That’s helpful though!! Thank you for your time!
@@jaredmarkfincher2196 I have also seen a Metabones Gfx to Ef speed booster like adapter, maybe it could help to improve the image quality and lens coverage. It expands the image circle of the lenses
yes you can 'teather' with a usb, but you will need a magic arm on the tripod, another tripod, with a tether table on it, a "projector table", or similar as it is hard to see the iPad without this, also allowing easy use of the stylus for manipulating the controls.
how can you get that 11-24mm canon lens without the hood?
We just shaved it ourselves!
@@ArturoLauren OMG! 😲
One more question please:
Have you ever tried using Canon 11-24 lens with your Cambo Actus G using a Full Frame body?
Is it possible to shift it?
And why do you like to use crop sensor body?
@@DHECORE Cambo Actius G explanaition video coming soon by popular demand haha
@@ArturoLauren okaay
Amazing BTS ..can you please tell me what's the black cloth kind of stuff in between the camera body and lens and what is it used for?
Thank you! It’s a Cambo Actus G
What lens fo you use?
Canon 11-24 and a few more. Feel free to check the list at the description
@@ArturoLauren why do you prefer this lent and not 8-16? When do u pass at gfx format? i use gfx 50r with a Canon 24mm tse..
@@ilariopiatti Hi Ilario, the 8-16 doesn’t shift so it’s not so useful for us. Even when cropping it doesn’t cover as much as the 11-24 with the Cambo. We already have the 8-16 but just for gimbal.
We are not planning to go to GFX as we are so happy with this setup
Nice video!
What tripod is that, Art?
The tripod that you see there in the video is the Aoka TKPRO525C, highly recommended. So sturdy and it packs so small
I absolutely love your work! It´s so inspiring. Your photos without a flash turned out so sharp and have such a good lighting, can you do a mini video where you do an edit and give some tips do the final outcome photos? Thanks, love your work. Best regards from Portugal
Thanks for the kind words Diogo! We just noted it, good idea! We have a few tutorials coming next
Love your work! Very inspiring :)
Thanks a lot!
amazing, I still cant believe there are no fleshes yet the photos are so crisp. We need a tutorial
The best tutorial is to practice and get the hands dirty hehe We would love time for it, but We are going to drop a few Q&A's soon in our IG
How do you use canon lenses on a fuji x series?
There are different types of adaptors, from the regular passthrough ones to the more complex ones like the ones we are using with tilt shoft capabilities or the Cambo Actus G
