Chunky little thing has always had such an odd shape in it's various miniatures. Love how you use the masking to get those crisp shapes, always a real treat to watch those scale modeling tricks applied to game minis. The pre planing really feels like it shows through.
Came here for the tips on removing mold lines on these tricky pvc models, your video was posted as a good way to do it. Do you have any other tips for that?
I had no idea about what these models were made from, but Pvc now makes sense as to why scrapping was not working as well as it should. Thanks for that info. Sanding and filing so far have worked best, folding the sand paper in half to make it ridged also helps. I have done some cutting with a blade and chisel, but it's very easy to cut away too much by accidental, so I try to avoid that.
@wraithguardscalemodels Hey, would you be up for a commission piece/video? I have some unique mecha miniatures that I'd like to see what you could do with.
Hello Christopher. I'm afraid im not in a position to be taking commissions for a while. I'm really working hard on channel building, and I'm in the planning stages of a large, complex project while building smaller models at the same time for additional content for the channel. I do really appreciate you reaching out.
This is absolutely suberb and the attention to detail is excellent!
Wonderful painting.
Your best work so far. Hope to see more Battletech miniatures.
Genuine Thank You for showng how you sand these miniatures. I was not aware of the trick to use thin cement to smooth the surface after sanding.

What is that little flat brush you use for highlighting
