He totally got robbed. Initiating 70% of Celtics offense. Guarding 5’s and leading in all stats isn’t enough? No Brown gets it for guarding the best player and having flashier dunks. SMH

@@ChristopherOja I wouldn’t say Brown didn’t deserve it but I could easily make an argument for Tatum. Him guarding 5s is one of them. Dallas had as many lobs as all the other teams in the playoffs. Him guarding the 5 and keeping Al and KP out of the pick and roll was just as important as Brown guarding Luka. Luka still got good scoring numbers, just imagine how much worse Brown would look if Luka still got his numbers and still the lob is Al and KP were guarding the 5. In a addition. Tatum’s led this team for years and this years playoff in rebounding. So him blowing up the lob scheme and ending the position by grabbing the rebound. He then brings the ball up and initiate the offense. He led the team in points and assist as well this series. Game 1 was a KP game. Game 2 was a Holiday game but Tatum had 1 rebound shy of a triple double with 12 assists. 6 of those were to Holiday. Game 3(The Jaylen Brown Game), Tatum kept them in the game in the earlies for Brown to close it. He had 31 and Brown had 30. Game 5 speaks for itself. That was a Tatum game. Brown shot 7/23. Easy to make a case for Tatum to win it.

Jayson Tatum is a perfect example of the quote "Jack of all trades, Master of none." He is an insane versatile wing that can do almost everything on an elite level. But that's where the problem is, he is good at everything but he isn't a master of one thing. Which doesn't make him stand out to other NBA players like Curry's shooting or KD's scoring ability. His versatility is what makes him such a unique player but he doesn't stand out to other players like Jokic's passing or Giannis's freakish athleticism. He's pretty much just a do-it-all wing.

Jayson played well in the playoffs you guys have to look at the Celtics team with holiday and kp and an improved white Tatum could score 19 and they win ..he doesn’t have to carry the load like he did before

As a JT fan I agree with 95% of what this guy says... amazing I don't know another Superstar with more ridiculous takes surrounding him. He left out most points in a play in game lol also most points and wins since entering the league playoffs and regular season included I don't think JT is concerned with MVPs he likes winning

Well dissected Tatum’s polarizing greatness: “Good at everything, but not excellent at anything.” That explains it.

The Celtics did have the No. 1 pick and then they traded down to the Sixers. The Sixers could had Tatum with Ben Simmons and Embiid 🤦‍♂️. Then the Lakers passed on Tatum to draft Lonzo Ball because they traded D’Angelo Russell 🤦‍♂️
