Wow! I am not (yet) a sock person, but I really like your socks, especially your Dad’s and the Halloween pairs. Beautiful No Frills, just so classy looking! Gorgeous yarn acquisitions, I can see why your resolve melted a bit 😊. Loved the autumnal footage you inserted, thank you!
Great podcast! I love the Palmer yarns. ❤❤ And the end, the videos of your son made my heart ache but in the best way. My “boys” are now 26 & 23 ( my daughter 18) and I so clearly remember those fun fall days playing in the leaves with them as little boys. Thanks for the reminder!
Your sweater came out beautiful! It looks very soft and cozy. Nice job on all the finished socks. You've got a good stash for gifting. I would like to see weekly vlogs in December. Perhaps you can share some baking/cooking/decorating? I liked the ending of this vlog too. All the fall colors were beautiful and your young son running around. He's very cute and looks good on camera!
You just popped up in my feed - hello! We have opposite color tastes (I'm in the middle of a bright hedgehog fiber potluck fade sweater), but I have a soft spot for Palmer yarns ❤. I hope you knit the tweed sweater, and I love your tentative sweater plans with your beautiful Red Stag yarns!
Sock Squad was very hit or miss for me as well. I finally tapped out. All of the colors were beautiful but not necessarily colors I enjoy knitting with. I did, however, sign up for Freckled Whimsy's "A Christmassy Yarn Club." I absolutely love kntting self-striping socks. Getting to that next stripe color is so much fun. I enjoy it for Musselburgh Hats also since it creates such a different vibe with the thin stripes of color. Thanks for sharing! Always love seeing what you are working on. ❤ Kudos to you on the super quick knit socks inspired Crazy Sock Lady's MAL!
Your No Frills is lovely. I am getting Palmer Yarn Co.'s Advent this year. Looking forward to seeing her colors. Kimberly of Palmer Yarn Co. lives in MN as do I.🍁
I was at the Great Lakes Fiber Festival! I was surprised how small and rural Wooster is. I'm from the Cleveland area so it was a two hour drive but worth it 🧶😊
I'd love any video you put out! You are the first channel I watch even if I have a big batch to catch up on! And thank you so much for mentioning Palmer Yarn Co! I just subscribed to her Nature Club. It's right up my alley! I love your new sweater and the stripes sock yarn for your dad's birthday socks is stunning!!!
I would love your videos once a week … your voice is soothing and down to earth 😊 You don’t always need a finished object to show just your talks about weeks or plans is nice to hear so no pressure on you Your sweater is lovely and socks also 💝💝💝 And new wool I can’t get enough of !!!🥰 Until another pod take care good rest of the week !!! 😊🥰
Thank you very much! ❤️ I appreciate the support…I’m going to see how December goes and then decide. Making the videos is a fun creative outlet, so I’m so grateful people enjoy watching!🥰 Have a great couple weeks!
Aaaah I hope my instructions to “connect” the cowl will be useful! To be fair, they’re nothing super fancy but if they end up being helpful I’m so happy ❤ I admire you and applaude you for your gift knitting! I also loved the footage of your garden
I had to figure out how to pronounce it too, this cracks me up! I knew what it was but didn't know how to pronounce it. (I realize I spelled Foliage incorrect, lol.)
Totally enjoy your podcast however often you want to do it. I have been wanting to knit the Felix pullover for quite a while. I might have to join you in that. Going to the fiber festival of New England in Springfield MA this weekend. I'll be on the lookout for all the yarn. Currently working on the weekender crew by Andrea Mowry and getting there... almost finished with the body. BTW your no frills turned out awesome. Mine is a bit prickly from the mohair. Did you add a mohair in yours?
