High notes can be reached easily by Chen and Baekhyun. All of them never stop to study or take lessons to improve their skills and not damage their lungs. So, yes, I know what's technique.

As a fan of both EXO and BTS, lemme offer an objective perspective. Jungkook has a beautiful voice. Honestly he’s called the golden makne for a reason. He has a very full body voice and has good range. He’s able to convey emotion and has nice vibrato. But compared to D.O? In all my years of listening to K-pop from all kinds of different groups and artists, D.O has a very unique voice. His voice contains something that most K-pop male singers struggle to convey: soul. From his vocal range, clarity, his runs, and overall technique, D.O is a force that a lot of male k-pop singers just cannot stand up to. This isn’t a slight against Jungkook. He is an amazing singer. But I’m speaking purely objectively as an avid listener of both groups. In general Exo is widely considered the unrivaled King of Vocals. It’s really no surprise that when it comes to vocals, they destroy the competition.

It's so funny: you guys compare natural voice tone of JK to DO's TECHNIQUE 🤣🤣🤣 DO is a very well trained professional which tops his god sent talent. Compare exo vocal line to any other group - like comparing first graders to university professors, especially this group who never could produce a proper powerful note, you can hear how hard breathing and constantly inhaling JK is while singing live, he lacks technique and this breathing heavy when singing around singers is considered bad training or complete absence of it.
The funny thing is that most of the clips of D.O was still a rookie, that is, it wasn't training as such but also talent for singing, that's why he was chosen by SM in a school contest...
I love both of them as vocalists, they're both my favorites in their respective groups. I agree with the reactors on the point that they really have a lot of similarities as vocalists but they're also very different, and I love that about them. However, if I were to choose who is a BETTER vocalist between them, I immediately would choose D.O. without a doubt. It doesn't mean that Jungkook is a bad vocalist - hell no, he is really good on the technical side too, but D.O just happens to be a bit better. I mean no one can really win against SM's main vocalists, let alone EXO's main vocalists.

Do Kyungsoo is just an incredible person that I will never stop admiring. At first glance, the album, the songs and his vocals may seem simple, but in fact it is not so at all. A large range does not make you a better vocalist yet, because another important role is played by the "technique", which Kyungsoo undoubtedly has great. He has such control over his voice that he makes all the transitions from low to high notes completely smoothly and even seems to make no effort. Quite naturally, during a song, it can change its timbre from incredibly sweet to sexually rude and sound simply amazing in each. Kyungsoo is one of those few vocalists who can make your heart flutter.

This album is something unique that Kyungsoo has put his soul into. He himself wrote the lyrics for the title song "Rose", and also took a direct part in writing each song. He learned to play guitar while still serving in the army, studied independently and played each of his songs from the album to record. He has recorded songs in several languages "Korean, English, Spanish" which not everyone does.

It's so funny: you guys compare natural voice tone of JK to DO's TECHNIQUE 🤣🤣🤣 DO is a very well trained professional which tops his god sent talent. Compare exo vocal line to any other group - like comparing first graders to university professors, especially this group who never could produce a proper powerful note, you can hear how hard breathing and constantly inhaling JK is while singing live, he lacks technique and this breathing heavy when singing around singers is considered bad training or complete absence of it.
Yeah, EXO trains still to this day. They're constantly improving their vocals.

I love both of them as vocalists, they're both my favorites in their respective groups. I agree with the reactors on the point that they really have a lot of similarities as vocalists but they're also very different, and I love that about them. However, if I were to choose who is a BETTER vocalist between them, I immediately would choose D.O. without a doubt. It doesn't mean that Jungkook is a bad vocalist - hell no, he is really good on the technical side too, but D.O just happens to be a bit better. I mean no one can really win against SM's main vocalists, let alone EXO's main vocalists.
