Agree that the zero-sum mentality (i.e. false dichotomy fallacy) is prevalent in human beings. The cure is an increased awareness of how the world and human beings really work, with all the nuance and gray areas.

I'm a Utahn and i value honesty, intellectual integrity, human life and dignity, compassion, the rule of law, and the family as the nuclear structure of a prosperous society. They are very compatible values.

"Acceptance" means to respect the agency God gave each person and allowing people the time and space to work things out, to have their journey, and to learn and grow on their own schedule. There really is no other option without destroying people's sense of worth. You don’t need to agree to accept and tolerate different kinds of people.

I support school vouchers, choice for parents to take their tax dollars where their student goes to school. I fact every tax payer should have the choice where their school tax monies go to. If they want it to go to prove school, then that's where the funds should go. Tax payers decide and not forced choice..which is NO choice. I disagree with Utah Democrates that we should only support State sponsored Schools.

"Inclusion" is an overloaded term. Please ask people what that means to them instead of disregarding it outright as an encoding of some political agenda. It can mean the basic need we human beings have to have social connection. Without that we have all kinds of mental health and social problems. It can also be a term used disingenuously and deceptively to push political goals. Demand intellectual honesty. Root out people who will not be forthcoming about their true intentions. If you really care about inclusion, the good kind, the zero-sum game isn’t the answer.
