Currently in Vegas, Elijah (as of 4/28/24), so thanks to LVLUP Expo and them sharing at their Helluva Boss panel. They had something going there regarding more of Blitz’s past and more new characters with devious intentions. Brandon Rogers even said regarding Blitz making amends with Fizz is a step forward in a new direction when he recorded with Alex Brightman on one occasion. They definitely brought out the emotional tone other than ripping on each other’s faults and flaws.
the "other bird" with the gold mask is the one from the hazbin pilot, when we see a big group picture of all the overlords when vaggie is talking about alastor's backstory (roughly 22 minutes 48 seconds in) . The one we kinda thought might be proto-stolas. A goetia overlord is an interesting idea, given the goetia are typically hellborn, not sinners. He's the only one we hadn't seen yet. (assuming the person next to him in that shot is stolas father)

I have a few theories around this, as I’m sure many people do. 1- This gives potential clarity behind those years that Blitz tried to see Fiz, but was told Fiz didn’t want to see him. The dad was keeping Blitz away. 2- Maybe Blitz is having those flashbacks when the demon (or ghost?) is possessing him. 3- What if, when Fiz and Blitz go to the store, they’re shopping for Ozzie? Then, since we see him wearing the same outfit while talking with Stolas, Blitz goes to Stolas’ house. Maybe Fiz even got Blitz to see past his insecurities, and he was going to speak honestly with Stolas. 4- I think whatever starts shooting towards Blitz and Stolas is from the fight scene with the ice guy (I can never remember how to spell his name). Since we see him charging up in one shot, and the ground has icy spots as Blitz is seen holding Stolas. The guy probably started the fight with Stolas, maybe after the meeting with the other higher up demons (discussing the divorce, perhaps?), and Blitz ran in to help. 5- Stolas singing with Verosika is clearly from the apology tour. They most likely are singing about being heartbroken, as we can see the sign saying ‘Blitz Sucks’ behind them. The scenes with Stolas in casual clothes is most likely from that episode as well. A break from everything. More specifically- a recuperating break after the moment between him and Blitz. 6- If that is a portal, the team is most likely running from the agents and the Cherubs who want revenge. So, yeah. Those are most of my thoughts. There’s so much to go through, even though it’s so short. I’m curious what other people are thinking.
The flashbacks with angry Fizz followed by Verosica were when they were roasting him at Ozzies in S1. Fizz telling him his love life was shit, and Verosica saying he was a selfish lover.

yep, i always assumed he was an early design for stolas (and assume the person to the left is stolas father) they are the only two from that big overlord group photo we didn't see in hazbin season 1 (even the weird ghost thing was at the overlord meeting in episode 3, he just didn't have any dialog)

The 2nd half of season 2 actually looks really good which is exciting since S2 has been a pretty messy season except for ep 6 and 7. Like the emotions I felt during this trailer were the same types of feelings I got during the best episodes of the show. Really interesting that bird demon who was shown off in the overlord section during the Hazbin pilot got retconned into being a goetia royalty.
yeah, while there are elements are really like in most episodes of season 2, they generally weren't great overall. I love episodes like seeing stars for that final exchange between loona and octavia, but it's a pretty weak episode overall, and I feel pretty similar about circus, and western energy. Oops, mammons musical, and exxes and ohs were fantastic though, and while I don't dislike unhappy campers as much as most, it's very meh all around.

BTW !! it seems like Blitzø has more burn marks now in ghostfuckers, ( 2:29 & 3:10 ) bc u can see hes wearing a dress and had more white burn marks below his pelvis that weren't there before (as seen in clips of the Stolitz duet from the LVL UP panel he has his normal red skin at his thighs and knees) so taking into account the amount of explosions shown in this trailer, maybe he got hit by one of them? one thing i noticed is that season one is basically introducing the characters and the world of helluva boss while season two is the story of helluva boss. yeah her voice seems off and it's just generally out of character for her, especially given how seeing stars ended. While i think this is a good mix of real stuff and dream sequence/hallucination/whatever, that definitely feels fake/red herring.

The 2nd half of season 2 actually looks really good which is exciting since S2 has been a pretty messy season except for ep 6 and 7. Like the emotions I felt during this trailer were the same types of feelings I got during the best episodes of the show. Really interesting that bird demon who was shown off in the overlord section during the Hazbin pilot got retconned into being a goetia royalty.

yeah, while there are elements are really like in most episodes of season 2, they generally weren't great overall. I love episodes like seeing stars for that final exchange between loona and octavia, but it's a pretty weak episode overall, and I feel pretty similar about circus, and western energy. Oops, mammons musical, and exxes and ohs were fantastic though, and while I don't dislike unhappy campers as much as most, it's very meh all around.
Season 2 has been stellar, I'm not sure where you pulled this "season 2 so far has objectively been messy and bad" take. I've really enjoyed it all.

BTW !! it seems like Blitzø has more burn marks now in ghostfuckers, ( 2:29 & 3:10 ) bc u can see hes wearing a dress and had more white burn marks below his pelvis that weren't there before (as seen in clips of the Stolitz duet from the LVL UP panel he has his normal red skin at his thighs and knees) so taking into account the amount of explosions shown in this trailer, maybe he got hit by one of them? Also they typically like to "Ken-doll" characters whenever they show their waist area to avoid having to censor genitalia so he absolutely isn't wearing tights or anything to excuse this

Like you said, Millie had long hair in that fight scene and we think this is how they met. Someone pointed out Blitz's outfit matches what he was wearing in that pic on his phone in the Ozzie's ep, from back when he and Verosika were together and we believe he was Verosika's bodyguard

one thing i noticed is that season one is basically introducing the characters and the world of helluva boss while season two is the story of helluva boss. This trailer confirms that and I cannot wait to see what vivzzipop has in store for all of us. Also prepare the tissues and comfort foods peeps its clearly going to be a rollercoaster of emotions.
