Did you learn all the moves for this game or was it too much to master? 😇🕹👌 =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= More from 1986: tinyurl.com/1986-C64-GAMES My Top Picks: tinyurl.com/CCGS-BEST-GAMES
Clearly a heck of a lot of work and thought went into this game (especially the control system), but I wonder what demographic this was intended for. It seems too involved for the average teenager and adults might pass on it as being merely "a kid's game". Much respect for the programmer and publisher for at least giving it a try.
I think I tried this, but since it wasn't Exploding Fist to say the least, I never bothered getting into it. Just too convoluted. Anyway, that joystick you use in the vid, I remember seeing it around being fairly popular. Is it the model you used? Use? Personally I went trough a Quickshot II, several Slik Stiks (they were cheap, slim and great as long as you were righthanded, but broke easilly) before I got myself a TAC-2 that lasted with me 'til the very end.
i can remember this being, a bit of "wtf" experience, since i had not the manual, but had inate idea that its not way of the fist/ik ,perhaps a time for revisit
I had that experience with almost every game I played. I remember wandering around in the great escape getting caught in random rooms. AHH the good old days. Well. They were ok I guess lol

I had that game for my Commodore 64
in a compilation called KARATE ACE 😺👍🕹️.
And i sucked in it 😹🕹️.
The moves were a lot harder than the special moves in Mortal Kombat. But I managed to get 2-3 moves without the manual.

Friend had this game and we didn't have slightest idea how to make any moves successfully. So I always came back to IK!
I never knew what I was doing in this game when I was kid 😄 I´m surprised it´s this much technical skill game.
I can imagine this game was really testing to program. Tough game to play as well.
Missed this one at the time, but was a Judo Yellow belt for a bit!
What's the Mata? Uchi Mata 🤣
Also known as Bagel 🤣🤣
2:10 😆😆. That animation is hilarious.
