Alluvial was originally slated to have a vocalist - Wes said that at the time he just sucked at arrangement and kind of left no room for a singer in the original release.

Another masterful and fresh take on what death metal can be. Infectious grooves. Hypnotic chorus. Brutal syncopated vocal lines supporting. Fluid and concise lead work to round it out. The identity of this sound seems so fully realized AND it nods to Gojira. Wes' singing exemplifies the whole vibe so damn well. Most anticipated release for the year. Big love and big praises for this work

This is exactly how I wish I could sing. Feels like you either have that tone of voice or you don't though. Of course Wes had to be a phenomenal vocalist too lol
You can get a long way by hitting up a good vocal coach. Anyone can learn how to sing. But yes, your voice is the one you have.

This is absolutely phenomenal! the vocals are so good. His melodic cleans are gritty yet soaringly powerful and the heavy vocals are crushing. All 3 singles they've put out are already creating a recipe for Metal album of the year 🙌 there is no way this is not in the top 3 of the year by December, I'm calling it now.
Wes is a freaking good composer. 1st time I've heard one of his songs was "ten billion years" during his Faceless era and bro, what a fucking good song! This one is ever better! Genius!
I've listened to this track like a hundred times already. So fucking epic and meaningful. Can't wait to hear the whole album. Wes is a great composer and the band is as tight as it can be. I truly hope they tour through Europe.

My mind is completely blown. Hearing Wes sing is so crazy. Dude has such a powerful voice and damn that whole song is so epic especially when the blast beats hit during the solo!

I've been listening to metal for 30 years, always looking for new stuff and I only found these guys a couple months ago. Don't think they are very well known at all, but the individuals members are well known within the metal community.
The original album by this band was just instrumental. This is a huge step up from the original in my opinion.
Wow lucky you man. Gotta say tho, this is top notch . Do not expect to find a lot of metal the same quality as this, or even in the same universe as this masterpiece.

I just went through their CD solid stuff. This song sticks out like a Sore thumb though by far the best track on that CD. But I will say their single named off the CD has a Bad ass outro. Can't wait to see them live definitely a song I'd love to hear live to appreciate it properly

Everything about this song showcases all the vast emotions of hauntingly numb/calm then straight to rage that I've been going through. Fighting some resurfaced demons that I thought were gone. I'd rather feel anger then submit to the weakness that dejection throws you in. Playing this song often currently. Such a well composed track and I'm obsessed with the vocals.

Im currently having the opposite experience of most of this comment section, everyones like "whoa he can sing?" But this is the first song ive ever heard of theirs so i just spent half an hour trying to find another song where they sound like this because im fucking IN LOVE with this sound.
