At the age of 85 I've seen a lot of politicians come & go, but modern politicians don't seem to have what it takes. Perhaps it's just that people of the right calibre do not wish to be politicians, so we are left with mediocre?......
Liz Truss is more on a town councillor level, than an M.P.

Jan Ravens is a great impressionist, but her comments about truss acting as a girl that has been told by her dad etc, was dead right
She also annoyingly nods her head whilst speaking when she lies. It’s as if she’s trying to persuade you to believe that whatever she’s saying is true. It’s quite obvious once you realise it.

Liz Trus has a stilted, childish way of speaking. She seems to be incapable of fluid speech - completing sentences without inserting irritating pauses. And it's not as though she ever says anything that demands much brainpower to interpret.

@@peterrenn6341 some people do improve these afflictions with speech therapy my daughter is one of them and others don't bother trying to include every letter of the alphabet especially if they've been raised that way as if have doesn't start with H but A because family and community say it that way then it appears an issue of "class" . My older brother used to say thecoz instead of because until I corrected him now I wonder why our parents didn't pay any attention to it .
