What a way to start the show two great singers Porter Wagoner and Mel Tillis . The other song Mel is singing is so true... life turned her that way is a hurtful song but there are many who have experienced it. Dolly Parton more beautiful than ever.and what a great voice Last but not least Porter Wagoner and The Wagon Masters . How sweet It Is to listen to the show 1967...... i like the old time classic country too. willie's road house on sirus radio is my permanent channel in my truck. this is the good stuff, i'm in my 70's too.
@@steveperry1344 Thank you for the reply ... Go on utube find Grandpa Jones and listen to the song Tretzium Yodel and my son sounds exactly like Grandpa Jones when he's yodeling. It is unbelievable.... How they sound so much alike . My Dad always sang the songs of Wilf Carter Jimmy Rodgers and The late great Hank Williams and Dad said there will never be another Hank Williams .
