Good critique ! I have heard a lot of negarives about how supervisors and senior coworkers will treat me as a new CCA. I wont let that stop me from going in with my focus in the front of my mind. Thank you for the post.

Within ur first 90 days, what are the uniform requirements? Do you pay out your pocket for your uniform since the allowance is not until after the first 90 work days or 120 total days after your in order date.

You can where whatever you want until you have a uniform or you may be able to get a “hand me down” from the station you’re assigned to work.

Aye bro how long did it take you to get on from "start to finish" I applied in july, did my fingerprints and assessments the same day and got my conditional offer letter 2 weeks later and submitted my naci submission. Well, I decided I didn't wanna work where I was living (oakland) so I applied at another nearby town and I feel like I'm getting the runaround. I went and reapplied in August only to come and find out they don't have my fingerprints on record!! So I resubmitted my fingerprints as of two weeks ago..still waiting to hear back but I'm hearing others are getting on board quicker than me?! This process is not what I expected.

Bro, I feel your pain. Sorry it's been that way for you. I've had my fair share of "eyebrow raises" since I started working there. Let's just say, there's a lot of "room for improvement". I'm keeping my head up and working through the challenges even as I type this response to your question. I pray things work out for you sooner than later. Sounds like you're eager to get started. As I'm sure bills don't stop coming in for you, just as they don't stop for me and everyone else either.

@@inspiredtothrive its just a bit frustrating that ya'lls corporation complains about the understaffed situation yet you got people like me who are anxious, determined and ready...smh. but thank you for the feedback. Hope it works out for you 🙏
