Eau Givree beats the pants off of Elysium on projection and longevity. Elysium is a really great scent, but for the price it lasts like 5-6 hours which seems unjustifiable to me.

I hate to say it but YSL l'Elixir has grown on me since my initial reaction. I've actually started to enjoy that weird somewhat sour note in the opening. It gives it that unique character and sets it appart from other blue fragrances on the market. Is it my favourite from the line, hard to say but it's moving up the ladder. Do I think it's worth the retail price, no but I picked it up for about 100€ at a discounter which I think is a fair price for the release.

Dior homme sport 2021 at work Layton outside of work. Dior homme sport really surprised me. I was not a fan of 2020, there was just something off in it for me. Sport fixed that for me and for me it lasts longer than 2020 and DHI.

OmanLuxury Overdose on the way here. Very interesting presentation. I have it now.... and it is great! At just the right time of year. A bit expensive but worth it. not an everyday cologne but this is different and high attraction quality! Not to be wasted!
YSL l'Elixir is a good fragrance, but if you own Y EDP, Y Le Parfum, or EDP Intense you really don't need the new l'Elixir. 🤷♂️

The EDP is the best, imo. It is a pleasure to wear.
@@BrianK_70 I'm glad I sampled it first, yeah $180 is ridiculous for a basic bleu fragrance. Gucci Guilty Elixir has the same high price tag, but imo it's worth it, Gucci at least gave us an amazing fragrance for that price.
@@BrianK_70Its interesting cause in germany the price different is pretty as of now you can get it for 120€ or less so its even cheaper than Sauvage Elixir. Though, Y L'Elixir to me and many others stinks like pure high concentrated chlorine with neutral soap. I don't see the (unfortunatly) need for Y Elixir anyways because it smells so bad.
@@ytb460Smelled very synthetic to me so Le Parfum fixed that for me and made it even fresher. Fantastic from beginning to end.
My favorite scent lately is Amouage Reflection 45 it has everything. And another one i often reach for when the weather gets warmer is Wander through the Parks from Miller Harris - very nice, bright green scent.

I actually don’t have the Original Ani so I didn’t really had the chance to compare them. But I read that one of the biggest changes they made was, they took out the Pineapple note and replaced it with a Melon note. It is a really nice Vanilly Melony Sweet Citrusy Fruity fragrance with light woody touches. It is the most Unisex leaning fragrance in my collection. All the other fragrances are really masculine leaning but this Dna is just a masterpiece imo.

Overdose was described by somebody else as having 'screechy ambroxan'. I get it, and how that could be turn off. I really enjoy my sample though - it works for me - thanks for the recommendation.

In my opinion HERMÈS TERRE D'HERMÈS EAU GIVRÉE smells more like Domestos. Instead of it can be HERMÈS EAU DE CITRON NOIR.
It is more interesting and long lasting.

@@GrowingDownUnder It works well for some, especially those that dress more old school/old fashioned. I'm from the Midwest area of the U.S., so I haven't smelled any older guys wearing it. Most older guys and "grandpas" wore Old Spice, English Leather, or Stetson in my area
@@shannonmitchell8515 it's just barbershop scents, typically musky and tonnes of oakmoss they give old man smell. They're known as old man fragrances, ask some girls and they will say it smells like old people
