  • You can format pictures in Microsoft Word to change their appearance and placement. Here are some ways to format images in Word:
    Position: Choose to center, left align, or right align the image.
    Size: Click and drag any of the boxes in the corners to change the image's size.
    Shape: Click and drag the boxes in the center around the picture to change its shape.
    Angle: Click on the image and hold and drag the curved arrow to change its angle.
    Layout: Choose a wrapping style, such as inline, square, tight, front, or behind.
    Style: Select the picture, click the Picture Tools tab, and then choose a style from the gallery.
    Image editing: Use tools to remove the background, adjust brightness and sharpness, and more.
    You can also use different image formats for different types of images:
    GIF, TIFF, and PNG: Best for images with fewer colors
    JPEG: Best for images with many colors, such as photos
