You always do such nice work on everything, Rachel. The little boy & girl statues are so stinkin cute! But I adore the clock, the lavender is just perfect.
When I watch your content, it feels like I am crafting with a friend ❤️ today was especially so with all you went through upcycling the little boy and girl LOL. I felt that experience so much 😂
I really try to make my content a true reflection of myself and it makes me incredibly happy that you feel that way. Thank you. And as for those statues - I can't tell you how close they came to going in the trash bin . . . . I am so happy to finally have them finished and out on the sales floor, lolol!!
I admire your perseverance with the little statues. The decapitation would have been my stopping point 😂. It all looks so beautiful and your determination really paid off. Thanks for sharing! 😊
You sure did make me chuckle, Rachel, with your story of the boy statue. They did turn out so nice in the end. The clock was definitely my favorite though. I just love everything with purple and lavender florals is my jam. How pretty is that clock. TYFS😊
I just had to laugh when I realized what I'd done when I kicked the boy statue . . . I really almost just threw both of them out, lol!! I'm glad I finished them though!! Thank you so much!! :)
I'm sorry you struggled with the little statues but I appreciate you pushing through. I remember those from when I was a kid, I guess that makes me "vintage." The colors on the clock are so pretty and it makes me long for spring weather. Thank you for sharing.
I'm so glad you liked them!! The statues reminded me of Holly Hobbie from when I was a girl - and yes - I am definitely "vintage"!! haha!! I loved how the clock came out, too - I am so ready for Spring!! :) Thank you so much!!
Hey Rachel! First and foremost, I absolutely love the lavender clock! We have some lavender plants around our house so I have a soft spot for it. It is gorgeous. Your little boy and girl statues, I can understand why you were possibly thinking of just tossing them but I am very glad you didn't. They turned out great! Love the tarnished copper look. Awesome job on both projects! Hope you have a good rest of your week and will visit with you again on Saturday! Love the little thrift flip blooper at the end. You sound like me talking. LOL Poor gal. 😊
I love lavender - I had a couple dozen (maybe more) plants in my old yard and definitely plan on planting some here when I get the chance. :) I love how the clock turned out, too - so much better than the green and red apple theme, haha!! And the statues - well - thank goodness I'm stubborn, lol. They sure gave me a run for my money!! I am happy to have them finally finished and out of my way. It's funny how every once in a while my tongue gets tied when I go to do my intro or outro . . . usually I just start over, but I had already done around 5 tries and just figured I would roll with it, lol!! Have a great rest of your week - see you Saturday!!
@@theeclecticcottagespokane What happens to me is that I will flip my words around or just lose the ability to pronounce a word correctly. I can hear it in my head but my mouth doesn't say it. LOL Do you save any of your lavender flowers? They are great for keeping mosquitos away. We must be related somehow. We have what we call the Anthony influence, and it is a stubborn, I can do it streak a mile wide. Glad you rolled with the tied tongue, hehe, it just adds to why we all love you!
I love the clock and the transfer you used on it! That’s my favorite of these projects. The boy and girl are super cute, though! Glad you forged ahead with them. I understand your frustration with them…I am currently working an a project that’s making me feel the same way. Thanks for the ideas and encouragement!
I'm glad you liked them! I loved how that little clock turned out - so much better than the green and red apple theme, haha. And I am just glad to have those statues finished and on the floor (and out of kicking range)!! Every once in a while a piece comes along and gives more grief than it seems to be worth - I have definitely had my share!! :) Hopefully you are able to conquer yours soon!!! Thank you!!
As always loved everything. ❤❤ Are you going to redo the sewing cabinet anytime soon? I have same one and I’m looking for inspiration! Thank you for sharing all your flips.
I'm glad you liked my projects!! :) And I already redid the Martha Washington sewing cabinet (hopefully that's the one you're referring to?). It is in one of my past videos. :)
