That bunny is adorable! I really loved watching the process on the bird candle holder. It looks like it has been around quite a while. That picture of the cabin is so sweet. I really like that you left it alone and just worked on the frame. Adding the dark wax to the frame really made a difference. Those pots are out of this world! Love them. Oh goody, goody, goody, new products! Can't wait until Wed!! Have a great week-end!
Thank you Shanna! I actually had a gal comment that she liked the bunny better before and that she questioned my artistic vision, lol . . . . I guess I can't please everyone!! :) I can't wait to get my hands on the new product and do some creating with it. Hopefully I will be able to afford to bring in the rest of the new release soon, too!! :)
@@theeclecticcottagespokane No, you can't please everyone. That was a hard lesson to learn. Please don't let the comments like that bother you. Maybe that person was having a bad day or just wanted to get your goat. Better yet, maybe they just need to find a different channel. Be a duck and just let it roll off your back. You have an amazing talent! I would give anything to be as creative as you are. I can't wait to see what you got in. They have a lot of gorgeous papers!
@@theeclecticcottagespokane True, but if they don't they need to just not comment on it and then slam your ability. Glad you have thick skin, it is a good thing!
It makes me so happy to be starting on making spring pieces and these were awesome! Loved how the pots turned out especially, and the candle holder birdies were adorable 😊
I always love everything you create, but today I especially love the bird candle holder I like the technique you used and the color combination was the perfect choice!
All of these were my jam😊😂 I’ve never used roycycled paper before… I know several creators use it and like it. ❤ Thank you for sharing your creativity. 😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you!! It's always fun to try and find items that I can use to create a cohesive vignette . . . it doesn't always happen, but it's great when it does!! :) And I can hardly wait for my delivery today!! :)
@ Thank you for asking. I live near San Francisco, on the Peninsula. The horrific fires are down South in Los Angeles. Just total devastation. It is so sad to see this happen. This is a tough experience for people to handle, not even mentioning dealing with the insurance companies. I can’t even try to imagine. Carol
@@caroltanzi29 My sister lives in LA county but she has been south and north of the fires, thank goodness. It has been horrifying to watch so much burn. I am very glad you are on the Peninsula, stay safe!
I'm never sure about the chippiness of milk paint but using the decoupage paper and dark wax really achieved the old look you were going for and I loved them 😊
Milk paint over chocolate. Seal with clear coat between chocolate and milk paint. Heat gun then another coat of milk paint, heat gun, you will get excellent crackle.
Most of the time when I paint a planter they are for decoration only from that point forward. I always let my customers know that if they want to put real plants in them, to make sure and keep them in their original pots and a tray on the bottom. :)
Great projects! You are so talented!
Isn't she though. The little snot. LOL
Thank you so much!

Is it possible to actaully plant flowers in the terra cotta pots; are they waterproof?? Or just for decoration?
Most of the time when I paint a planter they are for decoration only from that point forward. I always let my customers know that if they want to put real plants in them, to make sure and keep them in their original pots and a tray on the bottom. :)
@theeclecticcottagespokane Thanks for explaining that! ❣️
Rachel ❤
Thank you!! :)
Do yo have to apply heat to cause the crackle effect? Nice projects!
Honestly I don't think so. I just always do it that way to ensure the crackle and to save time waiting for them to dry, lol.

Thank you!
