I never played Terra Mystica in real life. The app is the most confusing Digidiced game I ever played. I never gotten close to winning the easiest AI. The in-game tutorial is quite lacking. Your video helped explain a lot!
Thanks! Actually the Korean would have been the app displaying to me that it was my turn in another game involving that player. I can't speak Korean, but I speak and read Chinese well after living not too far from you in Dalian, China. Now I'm based in Ireland.
The AI in my games never does this well. Actually it seems like it is dead. Not bad, I mean dead. All it does is spend its priests on shipping it doesn't need, build trading posts out of every single dwelling (thus ending up with minimum worker income every turn) and burn power to build bridges to nowhere (completely at random, more often than not connecting one of its buildings with that of another player). In around twenty games only twice has an AI player formed a town, and I am sure it was by complete chance. I have little trouble winning every cult in every game and winning longest network with 4 or maybe 5 structures. Difficulty level doesn't seem to matter either. In fact I have seen better play from easy 5 sec AI than medium 15 sec AI. I have the Steam version. Has anyone had that experience?
@@toflow1177 The thing is it is not terrible. A player who makes poor decisions is terrible, but they still might have a plan, however bad. The AI in my games seems to make completely random moves, as if it is picking them at random, one at a time, from a list of all possible moves. If it has any bias or plan at all, it seems to be simply getting those sweet points from shipping and then quitting because it runs out of resources. The crazy thing is that the AI used to be better, as we can see from these videos, and then it somehow got worse.

Love your channel. As a Terra Mystica fan living in Korea, I'm curious about the Korean in the bottom right

No, my app version works pretty well.
